Nice work!

It's only just dawned on me how similar Curze and Corax are. Just been reading Deliverance Lost and Corax is wrestling with exactly this - if he and Curze had been born on each other's worlds and had the opposite upbringing, would their paths have been the same? Gav Thorpe isn't the best writer ever but that's a nice bit of character development.

Whoops, sorry meant to reply.

I think they would have been similar, though I imagine both Legions would have remained closer to their pre primarch attitude. In regards to the Night Lords would still Judge and make examples of, just with less sadism.

While I imagine with Corax is whether his sense of justice came from his mentor or was always within him. Would he have toppled the gangs, or would he have clawed his way to the top to rule?

I managed to grab my box of Solar Saturday, so I've managed to complete the first five of the Las Section

Dunk it in some nail polish remover; that will take the paint off and should dissolve the glue as well.

Only for metal minis of course  … never do this for plastic…

Stick it in the freezer, should break the superglue bond.

You know. The new mark 3 is beginning to grow on me. I'd love to see a more dynamically posed version of it, but I always prefer seeing marines "in motion".

Here's my first completed mark 3, as a Night Lord despoiler. I used 3rd party arms for i t, they might be a touch oversized, but I don't think it's super noticeable. Thoughts?

It's fine, more than fine. And the arms are great. Which company?

Finished chopping up some old eBay rescue Typhoons to make some Proteus Speeders for my XIIIth.

This photo has been rattling around in my brain for MONTHS. The speeders have been sitting in a ziplock back in one of my many boxes of shame for years.

With speeders being removed from 40k I almost threw them out, but then decided to give a shot at converting them into something more appropriate for Heresy.

I trimmed down the airfoil, opened up the engine area, added two smaller thrusters on top along with a fin from a jetbike.

I’ve never liked that the gunner was essentially firing a pintle mount, so I replaced his gun with a targeting computer and moved the main gun under the prow. Finally I removed the stanchon between the pilots and replaced them with the MKII crew from the vehicle sprue.

I've got a load of old speeders lying around, I reckon I'll give something like this a try!
Many thanks for the inspiration:thumbsup:

This past, night I assembled, finally my Recon/Seeker squad with the main options:bolter, nemesis bolter, shotgun, combi weapons and Seeker bolter(I mean, kraken bolter). I just take photos of the all options except combis and bolters...because I ran out of battery XD. And made, also, some changes with the unit's sarge and I think I have a quite acceptable Vigilator.

Ah yes...and I assembled another apothecary. The MK IV helmet is provisional until I get a MK V

Pics from a ZM game yesterday against @Johanhgg. Played the mission from the Depths of Tredecimma exemplary battle. Had a lot of fun and it felt very thematic trying to push to the doors before the time ran out:

The Praevian and his escort lead the force towards the end of the tunnel complex approaching the command hub.

Opening the blas door was the last mistake the Praevian would make.

Felt like I needed some payback following a recent loss to my friends Iron Warriors!

Really not happy with the white pteruges, so back to the drawing board for them! And I need to matt down the transfer on his cloak - which, contrary to how it looks in the pic, does actually go into the folds!:laugh:

Speeder #1 is done.  I'll probably do the next three over the weekend.  I was lazy and didn't strip the original paints, so these came out a little...  softer looking than I'd prefer.  but I dinged them up enough to obscure the worst of it I think.

Looks great! No “softness” visible at all. I think this looks better than the actual heresy speeders and you can’t even tell it’s a conversion. Excellent work.
