Love the pink. It really makes them pop and takes them to a whole 'nother level.

No offence intended there, just looks like one of those schemes that comes together with one or two last stages - I love/hate those.

thanks it was magenta or just black and that might have been a little bland. also i have an unhealthy love with doomfire magenta .

i have too many armies and i keep flitting between projects and cant finish anything. XD

Im desperately trying to get some of these projects crossed off the list before plastic mechanicum release and i get all robo fever.

5 heavy weapons nearly done.

I made from scratch this past weekend, a Tarantula sentry gun with heavy bolters. I think is a bit small compared with FW's and other alternative models. What do you think? Something to add or is fine?

As a rivet counting guy, I think it looks great and something that could exist in universe! I don't think you should have any problem if you use the correct base size.
The only changes I'd suggest:

  • Remove the hanging ammo belts. They're redundant and do not make sense when those Voss heavy bolters  already have ammo drums.
  • Fill out with putty the top of the battery pack used as the central case mechanism to make it flat, and hide the original purpose of that bit.

I'm going to do that. I like redundancies but you're right about cover the battery. I'll left the buttons

Done, and added some extra details.

She looks great Loquille Really like the cloak and the blue, where's the head from?

I threw together another veteran, not quite as good of a result as the first.

An acceptable proxy of Loken? I was trying to make an overseer but suddenly I realised I made a Loken with helmet... a left-handed Loken I mean.

All plastic bits. Maybe I keep it in this way, as a generic praetor/centurion.

Opinions?

Like it a lot! Only thing I would change, if it’s not too difficult, would be to angle the pistol up a little higher. Unless he is aiming for the kneecaps

I raised a little bit more. When I took the first pictures, the glue was still fresh and the weight of the arm pulled it down. Now I think is better.

There is nothing wrong aiming for the enemy's knees...

Spent this afternoon doing a test model for my Deathguard project.  I'm really happy with how its come out so far.

Still paralyzed about what to do for their bases, but at least the models are going to look great!

you had a mk iv dreadnought lying around to use as a test model!? I’m so jealous I almost didn’t give it a like.

I thought a desert base like zandri dust might be nice - usually I go for maximum contrasting bases, but here I think the warmth closer to your white could work - it will be a more subtle effect in a more limited palette.
