Personly i pre ordered the book and 3 sets of dice World Eaters, Sons of Horus and the IF cheese dice.

The World Eaters will be a present for a friend.

I am only a bit sad cause i wanted to order the Tartaros Energy axes but they were out of stock yesterday.

It's weird that only now they released Tartaros axes with arms, but they had a set without them for years.

Might have just never been updated to work with the plastic kit.

The new tartaros axes are quite nice though, I grabbed a set. It seems to be a complete resculpt, the detailing is very crisp on them.

Yeah, they never updated the old Tartaros Axe set. The original FW Tartaros came with full left arms to equip axes/swords/maces/thunder hammers to.

I'm doing some touch-ups on my Mark III Squad (which was originally a 40k Tactical squad, then I found out 30k Tactical Squads can't do what I did with them. So I'm removing the Plasma Gun, Plasma Cannon and Sergeant and putting them into other squads). I realized I did the Legion symbol's colours backwards, so I'm fixing that.

Also got these ready for my House Orhlacc force:

strilled a really beat up old rhino. It had been painted, Relictors > Pre heresy emperors children > hakanors reavers > Sons of Medusa. Ive added a multi melta and a the missing cupola and started filling all the badly drilled bullet holes. Once this has been done, i have 2 more to build from scratch. I also stripped and repaired a unit of tateros termies who had been members of my death guard army lots of filling of holes and gaps where id sculpted in nurgle stuff. Once this is all ready il be batch painting the lot and adding them into my Sons of horus, i also stripped 3 attack bikes and have painted them into the Sons colours but im half way through those.

On the loyalist front im pretty much done with the next squad of termies for my IF, just need to get round to printing 2 volkites and a spare empty hand and adding those turns out i have nearly 1250 points of fists.

Some good stuff here.

Cut into my hand cooming yesterday so well see what I manage this week.

Hopefully some more baecoats on the warders. Also got to give a talk on thursday so maybe that takes precedence first.

And coming up on the weekend is a pait ign workshop that was scheduled for... March?

Now if only they'd do it with the Tartaros Special Weapon pack (or made a new one) for Combi-Weapon, Power Maul, Thunder Hammer etc goodness. They did it with Cataphractii after all. :)

You meant cooking... Right?

Guessing the mace is to represent the Thunder Hammer there Witchking? I like that idea

I did. I dont know what 'cooming' would be. But I am not a native speaker.

"Cooming" is a more cutesy way (personally, I'd say it's a dumb way) of spelling the English euphemism for orgasming. So... Yeah. You kind of said you were up to some Slaaneshi stuff there

I have made some Great Crusade-era Heavy Weapons detachment for my World Eaters

These guys are fortunate to have Land Raider transports, which will help to add weight of firepower to the unit.

Some pretty crumby background is in my blog here: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/355088-world-eaters-of-the-great-crusade-an-epic-blog/page-4

@Hungry Nostraman Lizard The 'Lupercal' heavy is off to a good start, what rules are you using for it? The Macharius profile seems blank in BattleScribe.

The Macharius does have rules - I have used my two Macharius multiple times with my Ordo Reductor.

Yeah, through "panolopy of war", you're allowed to take it. Of course, the 'macharius' doesn't exist as we know it, though I imagine there were countless other heavy tanks that existed pre-Imperial homogeny, and afterwards. Not everyone can afford bane-blades, and I believe the entry of the Macharius eludes to this too. I imagine it would earn the name of another famous Warmaster, or the original one, in fact.

Anywho, the hobbying today has been more fluff based, as I work on a few things, namely;

Ger'zass the Anvil-Lord earned his moniker amongst the 42nd through a series of tactics that crushed the seditious conglomerate in the Craulost system.

A banding of local governors had pooled their allegiances and declared themselves Imperial-free and renounced all ties to the Imperium. During a parade meant to signify the union of the locals, hence-by referred to in this chronicle as Crauls, the governors had sponsored a military showing of the might of their once divided colonies. That such a powerful army would withstand the tyranny of the Emperor.

It was at such a moment, with all eyes gazing at the Craul governors and their generals that Ger'zass struck. Using elements of light armor and fast striking scout elements, the Talonmaster saw opportunity to bait the confidence of the generals into cockiness, as vast amounts of their forces chased the out-numbered light-armor into a section of the city that was previously known as [REDACTED], as the armies of the Crauls pulled into the square, entire city blocks erupted with the roar of dozens of cannon and anti-material fire. Momentum lost, the Crauls attempted to reverse and exit as to regroup and retaliate.

Records show that such a reaction had been anticipated, and to prevent the Craul generals from escaping, the previous light-armor struck forth from side flanks, bolstered now. Massive teleportations flared as the entirety of the companies terminator reserve teleported in, in effect sealing the fate of the Crauls. The rebels had no choice but to either face the devastation of the terminator onslaught or break themselves upon the anvil of previously concealed heavy armor.
It is said that Ger'zass had personally lifted the last living Craul general before dashing him to death against the hull of his command tank.

C+C please!

Yeah, i've seen it done a few times, and I had a load of them lying around from past conversions.

@Pearson73 Thanks, really pleased with how its come out

GW usually dispatches on release day, I think FW is the same way.

FW is usually faster to get things to the door even though they come from the same place, maybe since the free shipping cost is higher, they get better shipping.

Kind of annoying, since the weekend generally stops the mail. And unlike gw products, I can't just buy it in person to get around shipping delays.

I actually got the email that my book 9 was dispatched yesterday for what thats worth.

That's weird then, since iirc you live in Montreal and I live in Ottawa and mines still no dispatch email. They also never answered my email about removing the dice from it, so I guess the dice might be screwing it up.
