The Ciaphas Cain novel The Traitor's Hand (reprinted in the Ciaphas Cain: Hero of the Imperium omnibus) featured an Inquisitor working undercover as a sanctioned psyker attached to an Astra Militarum general's staff; hence my suggestion Lukas is an Inquisitorial Acolyte working undercover.

So this is what I made the picture of a former Lunar Venatorii turned Penal Legionaire due to insubornation beyond even what is allowed in the Lunar Venatorii. I am not sure if I posted his bio down here before, but he is thanks to the RPs here.

Being that insubordinate? Other Lunar Venatorii probably think he's suicidal; the penal legion commander likely thinks the legionnaires should sacrifice themselves in battle to regain their honor, the way committing seppuku is supposed to allow a disgraced samurai to regain his honor.

Interesting and I think that is a good thing to add to him. Definitely starting to shape more.

here is his original personality:

Glitch is able to notice small details, sounds, or smells before others and interpret what they might be and where they might be coming from due to his experiences as a Reconnaissance Trooper, more so it has made him paranoid. Glitch knows and understands the basic information about the ranking system, logistics, structure, and basic tactical and strategic practices of the Astra Militarum, as well as the segmenta, sectors, and of great battles, notable commanders, heroes, and famous stratagems employed by those who fight for and against the Imperium from his time in the Lunar Venatorii. Glitch's understanding of simple litanies and rituals to sooth and appease machine spirits is better than most outside of Adeptus Mechanicus. Through either sheer stubbornness, Glitch refuses to die. Orks has tried to kill Glitch numerous times, fueling his animosity. Glitch always expects trouble, even in the most innocuous situations, allowing him to act quickly when needed. Long years on the battlefield enable Glitch to remain calm as fire impacts all around him.

Is Glitch infamous among Orks, the way Commissar Yarrick is? Maybe his reputation for insubordination is due to actions he undertook to kill a Warboss, leading this Warboss' subordinates to think they must kill Glitch to take their place as the Warboss' successor, and to lead the Waaagh! in the dead Warboss' place?

One idea for such an act of insubornation: Hijacking a Deathstrike missile TEL, and driving it into Ork-held territory, for the foul xenos to capture and then use against its former owners- if the missile wasn't rigged to explode the moment someone, like the Ork Warboss who seized the abandoned TEL as a prize, pressed the Big Red Button.

Meanwhile, Glitch is playing a laugh track as a mushroom cloud rises from what is now the Warboss' funeral pyre.

Not bad at all, he is supposed to had connections with doing too much with the Omnissiah's works as well. So, this fits perfectly he blew up such a valuable equipment and one not in his own regiment which meant even the Lunar Venatorii could not keep him out of the Penal Legions.
