Bound Daemon Regent complete!

The horns/growths fill in the space but the orientation perpendicular to the head leaves it unobscured.

Started on the next one. This and the first will be the two Bound Daemon Attendants, so I'm making them reflections of each other, one for each side of the Regent. I don't think I'm going to match the poses, just where the spikey bits are.

Second squad, which may become the Regent and Attendants because reasons, are in progress.

The initial idea:

I then played around with some arm options.

Pinned and glued

Trim excess plastic with scalpel

More claws

Didn't grab pictures of the process, but I used the saw to trim the robot neck and a Blightdrone head, and made some alterations to hips and here's where I'm at:

and

I'm a little torn for final stance on Big Head. To base him flat:

or to base him at a tilt:

I was planning on priming today, but the weather turned  I may still be able to if it clears up. The plan is to use an Iron Warriors style paint job on the majority and then I was thinking of a ghostly green for the flesh/possessing spirits. Probably bone for the the claws.

Here's the last one:

EDIT: Why no head? Pareidolia, I can't not see the little face and don't want to cover it up.

So, uh... finally somewhat set up after moving. I've much more limited space and will be focusing on my Nurgle Daemons and Space Marines until I move again. I saw a video a while back for an all-in-one airbrush and decided to take the plunge.

I'm using Vince Venturella's cleaning technique, hence the isopropyl alcohol and the two mugs. Nurgle Daemons are a great place to experiment because they can look great even when something goes awry.

Pro Acrylic Black Primer

And then Pro Acrylic White Primer zenithal

I used a 1:3-ish, 1:4-ish thinner-to-paint ratio.
