Anywhere else having issues finding the next mag in the shops? not sure if its due to cv brexit or what but the mags stock iv been check have nothing yet...

I got one in a WHSmiths I was driving past on Wednesday morning - but I expect this will be a popular issue so will be quite rare I’d imagine

I popped into the local WH Smith a couple days ago, and they didn't have any. Saying that, I've not seen any in that store ever, so they either sell out fast, or don't have it at all (they do have other subscription magazines though).

I've noticed that, since the lockdowns, the two WH Smiths 'local'* to me no longer seem to stock any of the Hachette part works magazines. Maybe the sales of these were so affected by the lockdowns they decided it wasn't worth those stores stocking any?

 

* being a relative term, as it's still about an hour plus to get to each...

I could believe that. The smaller stores not stocking, or having limited stock of them. The store near me in a town near Edinburgh, is the one that I can't find a copy. Head into Edinburgh, and the bigger WH Smith I checked had loads of the first two issues (when they was current). 

 

Maybe the stores might stock a couple if we requested them? If enough requests per store were logged, they might do so. Can only hope

The smiths near me only ever gets paint issues it seems, i suspect a scalper gets up early in the morning :D 

Id noticed my local Forbidden planet isnt stocking it either though, their partworks section just has a few mortal realms dregs :(

For anybody that has ordered issue 11 (Librarian), has anybody had notification of dispatch? I pre-ordered on the 16th Sept, so pretty confident I've got one allocated. Just wanted to check, as stock it's out of stock most places, and want to make sure I get one!  
I can cancel and order elsewhere mind, but only want to do that if I'm unlikely to get it from here.

EDIT: I've just cancelled and order from Darksphere (43 left currently at 4.20pm) just in case. Don't want to miss out on that model I really don't need

Got my librarian today from Darksphere, haven't checked it yet, but pleased it's arrived. Now to find out which issues have the next batch of models I'd like! Annoying we haven't had any sort of list, but sure, I can see their thinking to force people into subbing to not miss out.

All providing an up-front list would do is make sure all the best issues got pre-ordered en masse by scalpers way in advance, and made it harder for normal buyers to get them.

I've ordered a couple of issues from Dark Sphere, but they're weeks away from publish date and holding the whole order up. Would order separately but Dark Sphere's expensive postage restriction make it difficult. Do they expect people to order each issue one by one or did anyone else have a better solution with using them? Thanks :)

: Heads up - Dark Sphere (UK) have over 1000 more issues of number 15 - the one with the Flayed Ones - coming. They've got the pre-order set to come down if they exceed their quota for delivery and its still active now.

Not had my issue 11 from forbidden planet yet, thought I'd check the order on the website this morning and it's not been dispatched saying it's awaiting stock.

I've grabbed a fair few issues of both Conquest and Mortal Realms from Forbidden Planet, if they've confirmed te ordr they've always delivered - it's not always borne any resemblence to the release date though - sometimes it's been up to 3-4 weeks late and after later issues.

Yeah I received the same. I'd be surprised if it's a result of Darksphere because you would think Hachette would allocate stock to their subscribers first rather than trade sales, but stranger things have happened i suppose.

Ah, if it genuinely just awaiting stock then I don't mind too much I'm not in any hurry, I just figured that was what they tell you when they over sold their allocation and eventually they'd just cancel the order...

If anyone sees the new issue 12 in the wild, can you verify that the following paints are inside please.

 

Agrax Earthshade, Screamer Pink and Canoptek Alloy.

 

Also I have been speaking with a customer service person and they are having to make sure the sprues in 9 and 10 are correct so I am assuming that's the reason for the delays in sending some subs out.

I have seen issue 12 in my local Smiths (11 disappeared before I caught a glimpse of it). It has 3 pots of paint but I neglected to check the exact shades. It looked like a wash, a metal and a shade of red (could well have been Screamer Pink).
