Hmmm…

Aggressive,

Likes big guns,

Innate tech ability,

Non-standard (for human) skin tone,

Hits people to make point,

Loud,

Often eats bits of what he's killed,

Slightly psychic

It sounds possible… :P

Wait - wrong app!

Nice smoothing out MG.

Hey all, so I have been really busy recently, so haven’t had time to fill placeholders or catch up with the last week and a bit (thank you all for the comments, migraine left eventually) and I suspect I will be really busy for a good while.

I will check in when I can, but so that I don’t hold up the game Lys by all means puppet Brynjarr if required.

No worries mate, glad you feeling better!

I'm currently giving it a few days anyway so people can post any reactions they want to the Eldar's backstory, so don't sweat it! :)

Psyniscience check to kick of Odysseus' investigations - post to follow when there is some context...

33 vs target of 43 - pass with one extra DoS

Should probably put some points into this given his terrible perception score...

@MG: That's the plan, nice and simple… of course, Ghoran didn't say not to board/explore it if you find it, he just said let them know where you were first…

@AT: Nice. If you want to include it in your post, these are the hints you gain from the test: you'll realise that it definitely doesn't feel like the Eldar (they're too subtle, if it was them you probably wouldn't have noticed anything!). And for the DoS, it's not an audible sound, but if it were, it might sound like feedback?

@Beren: Great post, I love Svelk's 'quiet' moments, and the fascination with the Eldar is… well, fascinating! :tu:

The next update is fairly important to the story, so really I'd like to get it up by tonight so it's there over the whole weekend for everyone?

So if anyone still has posts relating to previous stuff; the getaway, the eldar, etc, feel free to shove a placeholder in if you wish?

(Quite possibly there isn't much to say until we find out what this new augur contact is, so maybe people are waiting for me to post a bit more?)

Barring any major problems, I'll post at some point this evening, anyway. :)

I was wondering if anyone would ask that! :D

He really can't tell you much else, as he never actually boarded the ship, so...

Edit: I suppose he could tell you where his ship docked, might be an easier place to break in? But that's about it!

not fully up to date on the story thread, but if we are boarding the king maybe bring Lang with us, just in case memebers of his previous ship are somehow still laive a frendly face may be of use.

I think boarding where Lang and his friends did before may be beneficial - he'll know the immediate layout.  Could be useful to have an active airlock and known rally point.

Lang should definitely come with us.  And Mr Holger. If for no other reason than to keep both in LOS.

Hmm, it's definitely unlikely but on the other hand, you (Brynjarr especially?) would know that Astartes and Mechanicus ships do tend to have a much higher level of automation than regular Imperial ships, meaning crew requirements are much smaller?

But you can't tell anything from here in any case...

Before I reply - would I be correct in assuming Odysseus' own seeker does not point to the weapon, it only reacts to its presence as interference ?

(as locus/seeker pairings are unique)

@Lysimachus, this is Captain Achard's cue to respond with his best Han Solo impression to Vesalius's long-winded riff on Boromir's pessimism regarding infiltrating Mordor.

Krak missiles and missile launchers for everyone! I have gone mad with power!

(Thanks GM for your continued largesse!)

Edit: Vesalius will replenish his frag grenades and also purloin a mag of Kraken rounds.
