Wanting nothing more than to close to the enemy and rend them asunder, Kuros' path to leadership was one of pure bloody survival. Thrown into the thick of the Indomitus Crusade's heavy fighting, Kuros out-fought and out-lived the terrors of both the real world and the Warp. He became an expert in boarding actions and the point of the sword for many of the Chapter's largest assaults. His superiors recognized the young Astates' almost-instinctual responses to the flow of battle and began to teach the headstrong warrior that the deadliest weapon is his own mind. He's a simple combination of the Indomitus captain w/shield and the Horus Heresy Imperial Fist Fafnir Rann. The arms and back shield are from Rann, the rest is the captain. I think the helmet is from the old Sternguard kit I think. He is used as the "bladeguard" captain in my lists, with the relic shield.
