Well I’ve finally found time to finish my Apothecary with Jump Pack!

 

First off can I thank @Gamiel for the inspiration on the colour scheme for this model it goes back to the Rogue Trader days!

 

Dark Angels Apothecary 
 

Really happy with how he turned out, I’ve used the Apothecary bitz from the Ravenwing Command Squad again (so much useable stuff in this kit!) as well as 3D printed shoulder pads and jet pack.

 

Not gonna lie, I’m not a fan of the jet packs in the MVI Assault kit so I feel the ones I’m using have a more brutal aesthetic.

I haven’t decided on what’s coming next, either finishing the Sky Hunters or the Assault Squad, any preferences?

A lovely collection of Dark Angels, the contrasting colours make them quite striking to look at. You clearly show a lot of brush control, they've a clean and ordered look to them. I commend you on the highlights, I've never mastered the patience for it.

I’ve decided it’s time for me to update my Dark Angels! It’s been too long.

 

After watching the Preview show I’ve felt inspired. 
 

First up I’ve finished my Squadron of Sky Hunters.

 

I’ve continued with my Green and Black scheme.

 

Also I’ve used bitz from the Ravenwing Black Knights kit, hoping it would add that Dark Angels Knightly order aesthetic.

Those jetbikes are excellent. The Ravenwing bitz are tastefully applied, and the green really pops. And the banner is gorgeous!

I think I’ll continue using some of the older GW Dark Angels bitz after such great feedback!

 

I have plenty more where these came from, though I’ll need to check out the rules before posting more updates.

Definitely. They add a lot of flavour and don't look out of place in the setting.

 

You had me scouring my bits box and reconsidering all the old 40K stuff I had in the garage to be sold.
