Just catching up on my Damocleas reading, my has the little side trip turned dangerous and wired.

As for the Maglift, Alice allusion aside,  answers are nice, but maybe not in a hellevator.

Hmm, questions.

1. Firstly, in general, how does Difficult Terrain affect Movement? Does the -10 come off your initial Ag value and thereby affect your move rate?
So, for example, Reynard's Ag=45, -10 is 35. His AgB for Movement would therefore drop to 3, and his half move=3m, regular move=6m, etc? Is that right?
(And presumably Levels of Fatigue would affect Movement in the same way?)

1a. I know the bad guys won't be affected by the musk, but I assume they will have to fight through the cushions same as us?

2. I take it there is no way out of this room? (except feet first…)

3. What do you mean by 'all 4m apart'? Very confused by this... :laugh:

GM only:

Spoiler

(I don't mean to be an awkward/rude/demanding player here… but I suspect a map, even if it were literally just a plain circle with a 20m grid laid on top, would be super helpful…?)

Kraevus: Called shot (head)

Roll to hit: BS 25, +30 point blank range, - 20 called shot, 73 vs target 35 = fail, fate point 32 = pass, no extra DoS

Compact Laspistol, Damage 1d10+1, Pen 0= 5 - toughness 3 = 2 wounds taken, 10 wounds remaining

:p

I appreciate the questions, hence why I've paused the game, to tidy up and streamline what I've missed, or which concepts don't work. Remember a lot of thse posts are first draft!

Essentially, the floor shouldn't reduce your move rate, it just affects all your AG Tests (so Dodge, Jump, Leap etc.) I'll clear this up in post, as it is a bit all over the shop. I've streamlined this to make the rules match the intention better.

They get what you get. The god of lust is capricious after all, and what better way to die in the glorious sensations of the Mistress/Master. There's a clue in there. This combat plays on what you know of the 40k universe a little.

Nope. It's with your shield or on it.

It's essentially to allow charges whilst using theatre of mind, because I'm not going to make it easy on you...

I see you point, although I've spent a lot of time on this today, so no promises this side of saturday.

Out of idle curiosity, were you being demanding, rude, or awkward? You need to buy me dinner first for two out three of those.

I guess Sauron beat me to it.

Though how is the armour getting power to move, the power/backpack unit is on the table and plugged into the Cogitator?

Deal is till there Tro. Maybe just for later.

I'll GM something in to ground it.

EDIT: There we go. We can assume Yshing took your concern seriously, and used the armour's insulation as a grounding station, and Sauron rode the current.

One more questions if you would be so kind.

Is this the same Sauron?

Some idle wondering...

Is this a starship machine spirit (or whatever the technical term is for sentience on the inorganic side of a MIU connection? Just wondering due to the source. On the one hand I suspect it is something lesser, as it says ‘I walk’. But a ship (or titan) spirit would probably be better at the whole take over whatever system it found itself in.

I assume we can't just sit on the floor and ignore them until they die of boredom...

GM Query, so: Yes and no. You would recognise what could be an electronic signature, or metadata which comes from the same source, but you'd know as well, that the servo-skull scrapcode is an updated iteration of the code.

Insert *zipped-mouth* gif.

Sure! Tiddlywinks, or I-Spy? (I know what Una would prefer).

Oh that’s interesting, so what had gotten to the skull and Magos Krupp either came from the cogitator core at some point in the past (perhaps when it was first brought to the hive and investigated before going into storage) or they both share a common source. Which might mean something closer to home then interstellar ships.

His eyes begin to see....

(Without admitting anything of course).

EDIT: After having my arm twisted, there is now a map up for the combat in the Cocktail Lounge.  (Do those words have new meaning, now?) And gee, would you look at what was under the cushions. (It's just a floor decoration).

Falk probably should have been more specific in his warning back at the warehouse when he suspected it too :p

Though in context... potential ally ?

Well, because I'm a sporting chap, you're both very warm, but if Tro wants to do an Intelligence Test (Not Tech Use) the first chance he gets whilst not being exploded, I can drop some more plot on you.

Which also might be explosive.

No guarantees.

Does that mean we are good to start killing? (Or getting killed...)

Oh, one more question (Columbo style): Can we hear again, or is it no vocal comms for the whole fight?

Ok, actually two questions: Even if we can't hear them, would someone who was wearing high tech armour (moving servos, etc) have had their hearing protected in any way and therefore still be able to hear us?

Kids these days. Can't even wait to get the wrapper off the Crunchie.

Yep still deaf. (1D3 Rounds. I rolled a 2).

Yes. If you know what Peltors are, you know the deal.

Hello, everyone! I hope you have all been well! Please pardon my absence these past few months -- they have lasted both all of 15 minutes and a decade for me. Something about time dilation whilst lost in the Warp as some Imperial savant would say, no doubt. Chaos abounds.

It looks as though you have all been quite productive, and knowing Mazer it looks like he has been spinning quite the yarn for you. I will get caught up eventually.

Hey there Necro, hope you are hale and whole.  Enjoy the read, Mazer has indeed been spinning a tale.

Look at these guys, being so polite.

Hope life is being kinder, Necro, and you're whole and hearty.

EDIT: Just as an aside, and if you can spare the time mate, there is an opportunity for a rather prescient 'in' for Scourge, here. If you want.
