Alright gents, we're coming to the end of Act 1.

If anyone has any further queries for the NPC's you have access to (Haldane, Locke, Drake), please go ahead and make them.

Once we wrap, we're going to break.

Does this mean we will get XP?

Other than 'a fortnight', I'm not sure...

Anyone got any ideas?

I'll consult the manual.

I'm pretty sure the book says at big events/ key points in a story, you could even... give out extra... :laugh::laugh:

Based on Locke's reply IC, I think this is actually kind of the truth.

So, I'm not sure about next steps.

I had thought maybe the 'sidequest' to Drexler might benefit from having Reynard there (Peer: Underworld, etc, and he got on pretty well with her last time they met?)

However, I do wonder if it might also be useful for someone to check out the Gladius wreckage and make sure the Golem doesn't have a backup copy of itself stashed away anywhere? If it does, and we smash it, that might be enough to delay him from blowing up Primus?

It also depends what Locke has in mind for us, if we are now more focused on combat missions in Act 2?

How far from the Hives is the wreckage? I’d assume that the dead hive are a molten nuclear slag right now and being even vaguely in the vicinity will still fry you with either and or heat and radiation.

Excellent point... I think it was just outside Tertius, but that could mean different things... (20miles... 100miles?) what's the range of a Hive stack blowing up?

Maybe if we don't go, it could be a task for others of Locke's forces... or even Sobek's pilot could do a fly-by if Sobek isn't ready to join us yet?

The wreck is solid, but it's a convenient distance from the hive to be reached. How far? GM Far.

Protective gear can be issued, but yeah, bartertown without the master-blaster.

There is something useful out there....

We'll wrap this Act up with operation blindfold and operation Glue Scourge Together, then we'll move to Act II with the following (loose) structure:

  • Go into wastes
  • Find Gwynne
  • ?????
  • Profit, er, death, wait - the climax.

That's the plan, but we'll see how many sidequests you want to go on.

@Mazer Rackham - From re-reading Operation Fireknife, it seems that the Servitors we faced bear an uncanny resemblance to the ones employed by The Golem...

Very common pattern. The ERMAGAWD Pattern Murder/Recovery servitor is well known across many sectors of the galaxy.

From the Calixian Depths to the Erioch Frontier, the Captain Choppy is the first port of call for all your Acolyte slicing needs.

To be fair, most servitors of this category look the same. The difference, as they say, in how it's made. (Incoming Body Horror).

@MG/Mazer: Am I understanding Restal and Locke's replies correctly that Restal is agreeing he will go on Beckett's shuttle (maybe with Bardas too, if that is still Tro's wish?) to investigate the Gladius wreckage? And Locke is agreeing that Reynard should go talk to Drexler? If so, I'm cool with that.

I'm not entirely sure.

For clarity can everyone sing out clearly with where we're all going?
