I really liked how he formatted his. It did inspire me to play around in a different style of background delivery.

And now that I look at them side by side, there are more similarities than I thought. Being noted for toughness, the tattoo (though Solomon's is more of an upper arm Marine style) and having been lone survivors. I really didn't mean to step so far into his theme. Though I think there are some differences. I'm not playing as much in the space of shame and atonement as Scourge seems to be, and I won't be going for Power Armoured Knight as my advancement angle.

I'm willing to make some changes if I need to though, no sweat.

No I think that you're OK with how he is

Welcome Valkenhayn, great to have you aboard!

Very happy to have another fighter on the team, I suspect in this final part of the story we will need them!

I wouldn't worry about the last survivor bit being similar. It's 40k, right? Everybody dies or watches all their friends die!

Welcome Marshal Valkenhayn to our little band of doomed misfits.

Success so far: most of us can board a train, complete breakdown of public order and two dead hives.

In the business, we call this: foreshadowing.

And, officially @Marshal Valkenhayn welcome, good sir, to the arena of death!

Speaking of which @Necronaut are you going to get out of that room?

@Mazer Rackham sorry mate, I fell asleep while typing up my post. I have been run ragged this week.

I appreciate your time, mate. Go and get your head down. :turned:

The beeping and flashing lights get louder and faster and then...there is no explosion. The mechanical spider hops up and runs awkwardly away as a crude approximation of Yakety Sax blares from its internal mechansims.

The Arbitrator that offered Lady Gwynne a nice comfortable couch. I hope that with all the foreshadowing that he doesn't look like Paul Wingfield.

That line about the couch is straight out of Terminator.

There are a lot of comfy couches...funny how good ideas just stay around, eh?

@Necronaut You might need to tweak your post a bit, as you're still in the Gallows, awaiting your ride. Maybe Scourge finds a shrine, and has a conversation with the Emperor instead of Locke? You can count it as a rest period.

And - at the moment of his doubt, as he asks for guidance and purpose, the sound of the Valkyrie comes in.

EDIT: Partially ninja'd, I'm busy wording my wisdom... ;) Nobody sweat it, easy to lose your 20 in a byzantine plot like this, after only 2 hours of sleep.

@Mazer Rackham well I screwed that up royally. Going to need to scrap most of that post and possibly save it for later. Sorry about the mess. I'll see if I can get something beaten together during my lunch.

Stay tuned!

TBF, there's not that much wrong with it. You didn't screw anything up - it's a good scene, just location is a bit out - that's all. :)
