@Machine God, I think I am missing some contex or suptext here, sorry.

It is the title of a Blockheads song by Ian Dury (Or Adept Antoninus Blockhead Slipshod Jury in the game thread).

I used the :cuss:  smiley for the last word as it's a swearword in English.

No worries @Lord_Ikka, hope the family is alright.

I'll move everybody on shortly. My plan is to have everyone rendezvous at the Tower Of Echoes, but a decent whack of that will be GM OOC Fiat.

GM: Bardas won't have to test anymore. We'll assume as he follows the instructions, he climbs out of the radioactive zone to a safe escape. Well done for keeping up with it @Trokair. Nicely done.

Oh good, much more of this and he would have fallen unconcious in a radiactive tunel, proabbaly just in time for the Sicarian to find him knowing my luck.

Alright boys, I'm going to move us on again, I'm logging off in ten days, and the Golem needs to be dead by that dawn.

If you want to do catch-up interaction, that's perfectly fine, just do a staggered post as per usual.

No worries.

The Tower is a peaceful place, and well guarded. Provisions in the form of pilgrim fare are available as well, so rest, food and sanctuary are available for those who didn't have the chance before.

Ten days and then you depart these Halls and the Bolter & Chainsword for the Authoring.

It has been a great game

I am much obliged good sir for your kindly thoughts. However! There is one great trial left to us all. For you as Players, it is survival.

For me as GM, it's a good ending. Not "The Good Ending", but one where everyone says - yeah 10/10 would die horribly again.

I would guess scourge is front runner for the hammer with swift attack and high durability?

Falk could manage ~ WS 35-41 / WP 44, xp depending. He is more of a close-in shooter than fighter but doesn't have any background reason to not throw his hat in if no-one more suited does.

Yeah Scourge is kind of built for ground-and-pound between Swift Attack and Takedown, but I'd need to purchase (somehow?) Melee Weapon Proficiency (Power) for him in order to wield Hywelsbane. Also I would feel a little guilty about hogging all of the good kit, so if anyone else in the group feels they have a particularly compelling reason to bear the daemonhammer into battle, I'm all ears. I'd also be happy to pass off the boltgun as needed to anyone in the party who has the necessary proficiency should Scourge be the best candidate to use the hammer.

It occurs to me that Scourge might be the only one in the party particularly geared towards (manly) CQC (excepting Solomon, perhaps, but we haven't seen him get into a scrap yet), but again I'm happy to defer to anyone who wishes to take this great beast into battle.

At 10kg Reynard would struggle to carry it, let alone wield it.

To me it feels like Scourge was meant for it.

'If I understand aright all that I have heard,' he said, 'I think that this task is appointed for you, Frodo; and that if you do not find a way, no one will.'

You can always use it at half stat. Or stay behind, try and find Cephas again...

Considering we are literally on the cusp of closing off this chapter, thereby providing XP....

But that would also mean that I would have to postpone my sabbatical, which would also mean that people with sidequests could have time to complete them...

I'll give the Players a chance to respond to the events IC if they want, then close the Chapter and we can decide after.

Considering none of us have Melee Weapon Training (Power), I suppose it's a moot point then. I will nominate Scourge barring anyone else's desire to swing a daemonhammer. Let's keep the pain train a-rollin'. Choo choo!

Anyone can get the training off Cephas if they wanted. With the Halls of Judgement back in control, contacting him wouldn't be a problem.

@Lysimachus I just have visions of Reynard swinging the hammer around like a Night Goblin Fanatic...

Well we can play this however you like, @Mazer Rackham. If we have somewhat of a quorum pushing for Scourge to take up Hywelsbane, then I'm fine with accepting the honour. I think the knight-penitent may personally feel as if he needs to undertake a trial of purity or pray and scourge (hah) himself, on top of seeking out Cephas for further weapons training, but I know you're on a timeline and I don't wish to belabour the point.
