Quick update as I am at work. I realized I hadn’t added much as WIP photos so here’s a partial build. No idea why they are sideways.

Had to step away for a few days so I don’t feel burned out, however here is my progress of the last few miniatures and I am adding ratlings to the pledge because well I found em in my bits drawer. Going to strip them really quick and we’ll let’s get cracking. I have a little more than a day and a half… lol

@Hiroitchi It is hard to keep up with your pledges and completions

 

 

To everyone else, the pledge list should be up to date and today is the last day for completing stuff.
To avoid any confusion, no further pledges will be allowed from this point on, I only want to see completions.
Tomorrow I will officially mark the end of the event, so please post your results in the following hours.

I will try to accommodate the different time zones, but we are very close to the end so please make your final effort before I close things down.

my bad, so this is it. Lol I am finished with this challenge I guess. Glad to have been part of it and I am sorry @GreenScorpion for making it hard on keeping up with me. I try to space it out as best as possible. Again thank you for setting this up.

@Hiroitchi Thank you for your participation! My only recommendation for next time, it is preferable to double post than edit posts afterwards and add other completions/pledges as sometimes I had already "marked" the post as handled and then something was added. Other than that you should be proud, a few more days and you would likely have reached 200 models

My apoligies. Ill do that next time. It would have been 200+ models but the upgrade kits didnt release in time for me to build the remaining 4 squads of Cadian Shock Troops. Oh well.. Atleast I'm caught up with my guard and not in any type of sea of gray plastic. lol.

Sadly, I’m not going to make it, too much real life in the way I’m afraid. I’ll post some progress shots because the ordnance batteries are something I Really really enjoy working on, and the bits from Victoria miniatures are going to blend nearly seamlessly with the rest of the Mordian 19th.

vow failed, completed photos will be up in a few days on my remobilization thread.

I almost didn't finish because of real life issues as well as some in my head, but progress is progress.

I did try finishing everything but my mental health has been a bit crap the past couple of weeks and I had to walk away from painting (and songwriting) as everything started to become a chore instead of relaxing hobby time. Ive got most stuff basecoated and some washes done and half painted minis wind me up more than unpainted ones so Im still gonna try finish what I have started in the next week, maybe, hopefully. 

 

Bloody great job from everyone else though, and thanks again to @greatcrusade08 for the silver, at least I can finish my stuff even if its late.

Mental health is no laughing matter, I’m always happy to help where I can. Hopefully you will find the mojo for painting again soon, I find it therapeutic although I only truly enjoy it when I’m in the mood for it

I have run out of models to paint. lol I guess I can touch up what I have to make it better or add more decals. @GreenScorpion you are the boss for setting this event up. @greatcrusade08thanks for the friendly competition between you and I kept me motivated. Everyone who participated did amazing jobs with their pledges and what they got accomplished. Proud to be part of such a community.

Absolutely brother, thank you too, it definitely helped motivate me.. I have painted more models in this event in the last 3 years combined.

Being new to B&C, I'm not sure of the audience and I can't think of a better crew to ask than those on theis challenge- is there much appeal in a painting and modelling log for a rogue trader IG army? Now the event's over I'm in need of more motivation to carry on.

@Bonehead You can always share your painting and modelling progress in the forum. You could create a thread for your progress in the Astra Militarum sub-forum or in the works in progress sub-forum ( https://bolterandchainsword.com/forum/62-works-in-progress/ ) depending on whether you want to share among the IG players or on a more generic place.

If you want something closer to a blog, there is also the blogs section of the forum, although a thread in a sub-forum likely has more interaction than a blog.
Those options are also not mutually exclusive, you can have threads in various places for different audiences.
