Thanks for the heads up! Unfortunately I settled for two tanks in my optimism. That's how far I got with one them. The other is still only in shades of red. But hey, three colors up it is.

So going to attempt to get a lot done this month.  Going to need to if I intend on getting my Call to Arms vows done.  So going to start small for hopefully some quick wins to build momentum.  So to begin with I, Brother Argent, vow to complete

 

1x Sister Repentia by months end

 

 

So by my maths I have 12x Marines of various sorts, 1x Dreadnought, 8x Various sisters, 2x Ruins, 1x Kataphron destroyer 27x various bugs (including some big bugs) 3x necrons and a warpsmith and Maulerfield...  

 

Yep.... something tells me its not going to happen.

So... had this guy done for a few days:

 

I am starting to find this very challenging to push through these and certainly not in time to complete all my vows.  

 

Anyway I have moved on to 5x Sternguard Veterans

 

As well as

 

3x Battle Sisters, 2x Seraphim and 1x Canoness.

 

Please excuse the Canoness' blue tac neck.  There is almost no way to sub assembly her so she is just all the parts seperate...

I'm going to be honest with you brothers, and although I'm making my vow now and posting this early work-in-progress shot, I must report that I am in actuality much further along with these four dwarves than it appears. 

 

So; For the month of September, I, Ace Debonair, vow to complete Four (4) Hearthkyn Salvagers of my still-fairly-new LoV Kill Team! May my honoured ancestors throw books at me from across the room should I fail.

 

This picture was from this morning:

 

And as of now I've done all the brown, blue, yellow, and black hazard stripes, alongside most of the gold, most of the red, green, blue and Metallic Grey. All that remains is the bright green and bright blue blinky and glowy bits on the armour, plus a quick wash with the old Seraphim Sepia to get that Hardworking Dwarf Aesthetic just right.  Oh, and all the skin tones. 

 

So I'm close to done, but there's still plenty to do.

 

I've only stopped because it's finally too dark to keep painting (or take an updated WIP pic), but by golly I'm actually close to done with four dwarves in one month, and thus a full team of Ten Dwarves for this year's Crimbo Kill Team game.

 

All I needed was a day off with no other distractions, but since those are vanishingly rare, well... at least this one's timing was just right.
