It's something like that anyway, and the important thing is:

 

VOW COMPLETE! 

Another Bolterdwarf, a second Theyn (Loose cannon cop, anyone?), Molly the Packmule and a Gunner who looks somewhere between Jesse Ventura and Scruffy the Janitor from Futurama.

Hazard stripes are hard, but cheating and using cocktail sticks instead of a brush certainly helped a bit.

 



I almost forgot to paint Molly's feet at all, as well as the inside of the armour where the heads go. Always remember to dry-fit models if you've painted them on the sprue - it's a lifesaver!

 



 

What's weird is how the wash doesn't seem to show up on the backpacks on the pictures - they're a bit more weathered in reality rather than solid banana yellow.

It's technically two squads of five so I can have Kill Team missions set on different bits of the Space Hulk, they'll be paired with 3~4 Space Marines and go about shooting orks and bugs alike.

 

I gotta say, this thread is made up of 100% pure motivation - everyone keeps knocking out such cool models and I kept going "Man, I gotta do something with my Dwarves today", which meant I'd keep sneaking little bits of painting in here and there. Progress - of any sort - is what keeps the hobby mojo going, so thank you all for posting your cool stuff and keeping me motivated!

What that? A hobby butterfly strike? Instead of completing terminators of which I have 2 started already, I felt the sudden need for speed. And so there will be Repulsor from my Call to Arms vow landing on my desk:

I, Majkhel of the Blood Angels, embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the month of September pledge to complete any of the 1 Repulsor tank for the glory of the Angel by month's end.

So most everything else for the month is done sans basing but if I am to somehow complete at least one of my Call to Arms vows I need to keep going, so I vow to break what little sanity I have left and also attempt to complete for this month:

For the month of September I have completed my vow of one Chaos Cerastus Knight Lancer all painted up and based for the forces of Nurgle! Gotta say, doing a little vow like this definitely helps get some motivation to put some paint on plastic! Gunna take a breather for now and plan out my next addition to the force which will hopefully be an October vow.

September Complete, not particularly happy with them but i have a terrible habit of not equating time painted for worth so they're staying done or i'll end up redoing them and spending more time than I did on Guilli for some guardsmen

One complete one to go. After seven weeks of illness I finally felt strong enough to pick up the brush again. Here is the first half of my original August vow and revow for September. 

I replaced the front lights with actual LEDs, but it's complicated to get an useful Pic of them turned on. 

 

I still hope to get the second one done in time. Emperor, please guide my hands.

Meant to post these last night, but finished models for this month

Really pleased with how they turned out with contrasts+some effort of dry brushing and washes. Hopefully the pics do the Accursed bricks justice. The mud base was fresh and will be less gloppy when it dries after a day or so.

This one might be a bit touch and go but for the last few days of Sept I vow to complete the repaint of this Rhino

With September almost done I did manage to paint all 12 models I vowed. Another few months of progress like this and I will stop giving away 10 VP every game.
