GF bought me the introduction set.  Moving to Quebec recently I lost everything. all my brushes, paints, minis. So this is a start. The mini's will probably never get played with, the brush isn't that great but it came with snips, 5 paints. it's a start...

oh that sucks man! Hope you are able to rebuild your collection. There is only the one GW store in montreal but most indie stores have stuff. If you are near the Sherbrooke/Estrie region I can point you at a few places to get started. My friends and I don’t get much time to play anymore either but Sherb is a multiple university town so has a bigger gaming scene than you might expect for it’s size.

Well let’s see went into lgs to pick up my preorder (imperial agents: codex, cards, dice & Ordo malleus box) walked out with an additional 4 paints, 5 Grey Knight terminators, 10 strike marines I bought and then got board actions terrain and Skavebtide stormcast characters and servants via trade

I got the Blood Angels boxset yesterday. And noticed that Firestorm Games had the Bretonnia box set for the Old World in stock so I grabbed that as well.

 

I wasn't even going to get the Blood Angels box - all my Blood Angels are either for the Heresy or are First Born. All my Primaris stuff is for the Minotaurs. I already have Lemartes and Astorath, in metal.

 

So I bought a fancy codex, plastic Lemartes and plastic Astorath for the Blood Angels, I bought a load of Assault Intercessors and a Dreadnought for the Minotaurs, and I bought some horsies on a whim.

I finally got a Drop Pod. I don't know what I'm gonna use it for though. Sternguard Veterans? Devastators? Hellblasters?

There may or may not have been about $75 spent on eBay for 10 mk III armor dudes and 5 cataphractii terminators within the last day, and they may or may not be arriving on Wednesday to Friday. Iron Warriors are upcoming and subsequent posts will be made.

Today's session turned out to be a bit more costly than planned- Picked up the Agents dex, Aveline and ordered my copy of the store anniversary Ethereal. Felt good because two of those are rare/limited. I think I can order my WH+ Inquisitor and Sonic Assassin on Wednesday, so more rare or limited coming my way soon. Kill Team will be tempting when it comes, but after today, I might not have the budget,

Are these the old MKIIIs? They go for stupid prices on eBay. Which is annoying because I prefer them to the new ones.

New ones, unfortunately. I'll see I can't get a friend to 3D print some bits for the old helmets because the new ones suck.

Been looking at Archie's Forge. The new Mk III helmets are the ONE thing that make the new sculpts flatly worse (even if you accept monopose). Do you need superglue to use their bits?

Been looking at Archie's Forge. The new Mk III helmets are the ONE thing that make the new sculpts flatly worse (even if you accept monopose). Do you need superglue to use their bits?

I would assume that you would only need plastic glue considering they're described as being printed in PLA. But I suppose we'll see when I purchase them and when they ship when I get paid next.

 

P.s. I was wrong, they're printed in resin :P. I would still assume you only need plastic glue but I haven't ever worked with resin so I dunno

You’ll have to use super glue.  Plastic glue does nothing to resin.
