Just as an update on the 'up to 180 days' turnaround time - I ordered a Skyshield on Saturday and just had an email saying its already on its way! :)

Careful giving people hope.
As others have mentioned there seems to be MtO and AlreadyMtO.
I know when my Ethereal took 6 months people still got theirs a week after ordering.

But congrats!

Prices seem a bit of a mixed bag to me.  I just missed these so I'm not sure of their original prices, as such I'm basing my opinions on the general value of model kits and then adding on GWs usual markup.  The Bastion and Landing Pad prices are great, I was worried they would be £50+, at £40 they are a definite buy (though not quite cheap enough to buy more than one).

The two basing kits seem a bit steep, at the top end of GWs normal markup.  I was planning to buy two of each for various terrain projects but at £25 it will be one only.  Particularly disappointing with the hero bases as I had a plan for double the tank turret, bomb, and steps.

Finally out of what I was planning to buy the Aegis Defence line is appalling value.  Similar sized barriers from other manufacturers are around £10-12 add on GW mark up call it £15.  How they can charge £30 for a set of small barriers and a gun beggars belief.  You are looking at £90 just for a basic setup of barriers.  The Landing Pad puts this more into perspective, it comes with more barriers around it's edge than the Aegis Line provides and then you get a landing pad for only £10 extra.  As such I will not be buying any of these when I was planning on getting 4.

I've not looked at the Wall of Martyrs as I find it odd they only produced a bit of the range.  If they at some point do a Wall of Martyrs MtO with all the big guns and emplacements I'll take a look at them.  My Sisters could use with some Monastery defences.

In then end I went from cutting my order from 1xBastion, 1xLanding Pad, 2xhero Bases, 2xBase Detailing and 4xAegis Defence Line to 1xBastion, 1xLanding Pad, 1xHero Bases and 1xBase Detailing.  I'm not normally one to think GW kits are wildly over priced but they have definitely lost business from me with some of these.

As much as I was tempted I took the view it is the nostalgia talking and have held off buying any of these.

Pricing wasn't too bad, except on the defence line but I couldn't justify these vs wanting to get other things later.

I'll stick with/dig out ye olde cardstock and bulkheads versions that I have buried in the loft somewhere.

Yeah broadly agree with the thread, I'm getting a landing pad on Thursday when I get paid but might have bought a few more, specifically the aegis line and basing bits if they were better priced.

Though tbf, I had a tight threshold for the aegis as I have 3 sets painted already in storage somewhere lol

Picked up 2 bastions and landing pad but wall of martyrs just costs too much once you start adding all the bits together. Selling a set for £120 - 150 which made a decent trench network might have gone down better but adding 2 trench lines to cart was enough to make my eyes water and reconsider the purchase.

I ordered some MTO Servitors back on the 20th October last year, they arrived yesterday. Yet two Land Speeder Tempests I ordered MTO both arrived within 2/3 days. Hope everyone still waiting gets their goodies.

They really need to do more mto terrain. So much has been lost

I completely agree. In particular, MTO Sector Imperialis would sell very well (judging by the crazy prices it goes for on eBay these days).
