Votann one puts me bang on 2000 pts. Haven't been able to buy hearthguard for 6+ months, and I want the Grimnyr for completeness' sake even though he may not be fantastic. Cool.

 

I'd be tempted by the Marine one if I felt like pushing my Primaris past the 3000(?) pt mark. Don't need more than 10 jump assault bois, but indeed thinking I may need exactly 10 : P

Some tough choices to make this year. Have no desire to buy Votann or Orks, but the rest seem really tempting!

 

 

Glad I bought the Eldar and Dark Eldar battleforces a few years back... had no idea battleforces for them would be so uncommon.

That is going to be extremely unlikely that it's anything different to the kit we already have.

Anyone have any good ideas for converting one of the ATVs? its honestly one of the derpiest models GW has put out since the advent of primaris.

The Marine one does surprise me a bit having a brand new character and 3 copies of the new jump Marines. Seems like it will make it hard to shift the individual units if everyone know they will be coming out bundled cheaply in a few months time.

To be fair i dont think it was GWs plan to have those contents known before the jump marines release ( wich is likely very soon )

In 9th the Attack Bike was better than the ATV as it was more points efficient and benefitted from more aura buffs. In 10th the MM has been weakened in an AT role by the increase in toughness while the OGC is just a bit lacklustre.

And as if that were not discouraging enough, it's also ugly as sin to top it all off.  And now you are offered the privelege of owning it if you agree to pay regular internet prices (not undiscounted g-w.com ripoff prices) for the rest of the contents!  What a deal.  

 

GW could as well put a sticker that read "Please buy the box and save us the cost of stocking this abomination" on it.

I feel like the go-kart, with the multimelta nerfs, is even worse, when it was pretty bad to begin with. Also I hate how it looks. At least for me, it sucks the savings out of the Space Marine battle force because I can't see wanting to paint, much less use, that unit.

I think that's more likely for the other Warhammer games system which I believe we only know of four boxes so far, they might get two more to match 40k's six.

Hopefully though they be more for both 40k and AoS as nobody should miss out on bargain boxes for their armies.

The extras last year were a leftover from the aborted 9th ed SM Supplements, so I don't think we will see anything similar this year.

AoS did get seven boxes las year, up from the typical four. It had been 6 40K and 4 AoS since they started these boxes in 2016. Maybe they didn't want to have a 2:1 ratio between systems, or maybe they just find these to be good sellers. Last year was also the first year they included Primarchs and Knights in the boxes so I wouldn't be surprised if we get a curveball or two in 2023.
