I’d go regal full purple for such an esteemed leader!

Loving the whole unit.

I ended up making his robes khaki and his cloak fur grey as a compromise. Thanks for the suggestion though!

@Nagashsnee Thank you, those Gue'vesa were pretty fun.

I'm wondering if anyone could give me an idea for my current Necrons I'm working on.

For the green energy, I  use a process of grey seer/hexwraith mix as a base, then with hexwraith in the recesses, then moot green to bring out a glow. But I want something a little extra at the edges and high points to give the energy some POP, and I can't figure out what. I tried mixing moot green with white but it just came out way to light. Maybe a moot green and yellow mix? Maybe a heavier ratio of moot green to white?

Have you tried just using yellow?

Or maybe a larger spot of yellow with then a dot of white inside?

I haven't, but I was leaning towards some yellow I might try to blend the middle with a mix of moot green and yellow, then yellow at the very center

Depending on the effect you want, adding a light yellow like Dorn Yellow (pale) or Flash Gitz Yellow (bold) to the green should lighten it and give it more pop than adding white.

The other option is to look at the various fluorescent greens.

I ended up mixing Moot with TTC Yellow Flame (which seems to be a Flash Gitz equivalent) and using that as a highlight. I didn't really know fluorescents were a thing, that might be a future thing to try.

I was gonna take a break this weekend from painting my call to arms to work a little bit on a Daemon Prince project I had in my head maybe even work on it next week

Instead I just did nothing else but slam three kits and my bots box together and I am hype on the results

The actual Daemon Prince is my faction leader, Tomasz the Nine-Soul King. The winged DP (Krethusa kit) acts as his right hand, though she discretely pulls the strings of him and the warband for her own ends.

I need to give her a name and I really need to start writing some background lore for my warband again. I started my ideas for the warband a decade ago but my ideas have kind of evolved my collection has.

I can't wait either, they were so fun to build.

So technically your faction leader is a literally bookworm? It's no wonder she manipulates him...

Nice conversion tbh. Waiting seen it painted.

Some men will do anything for their lady, even those demonically empowered. (Forget the fact she is also demonically empowered)
