It took me a bit to figure how the skin tone for the Krootox. I didn't want them to have the same skin as the Kroot, but I didn't really love the brown from the box art. My original plan was for a greener turquoise, but I'm happy enough with the blue shade

They are looking great!  Kroot are really a good match for your painting style, they came out looking really natural - even the blue ones.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. They take so well to drybrushing and contrast, the process is pretty fun.

I still need to finish their lore, but my Gue'vesa Kill Team is complete: the 55th Dal'lyth Rifles Cadre ("Pale Carnivores"), 1st Assault Team.

Gue'vesa'Vre Clemen, Cadre leader and guerilla warfare specialist. Extensive cross-training and cooperation with Kroot forces within the Gio'co'cyks expedition. His service has garnered him the respect of the Bluebeak Shaper Council, from who he received the monikor "Pale Carnivore". Though the ranking Cadre officer, he often fights alongside his  teams during critical operations.

Shas'la Ka'lan, Fire Warrior liason. Due to the low T'au presence within the expedition, the Fire Caste act in concert with auxiliary units. Few Fire Warrior teams are held as a reserve, with most of the T'au infantry attached to Gue'vesa squads, particularly junior Shas. Ka'lan acts as both  lead drone operator and designated marksmen

One atypical drone model employed by the expedition are MV8-0 Missile Drones. Smaller and with less operational range then typical drones, their small size allows them to be carried, assembled and deployed by  teams in field.  They are favored in guerilla warfare operations.

Specialist members of 1st Assault Team Gue'vesa'ui Stemins (Team Leader) leads the squad, with Gue'vesa'la Jonsin and Terrace providing fire support (grenadier and flamers respectively. Gue'vesa'la Willam is the team comms specialist, and Gue'vesa'saal Eriq is the newest recruit into the team. Although Eriq is ranked as a junior trooper, he is actually a veteran from a turncoat Imperial force.  The expedition has recruited multiple Imperial units, only the most stringently vetted are recruited into the Dal'lyth Rifles. Most Dal'lyth Riflemen are second generation or older Gue'vesa.

Troopers of 1st Assault Team: Gue'vesa'la Ryaan, Tomas, Blaise, Mathieu, and Mieke.

Those came out really nicely - I think they are one of my favourite Tau human auxiliary conversions that I've come across.  Normally, they either look too Tau or not Tau enough, and I think you've gotten the balance just right - I think in large part because your excellent choice of helmet and the smaller rifles.  Your special weapon hybrids of imperial and tau parts are also really effective.

Thank you! I completely agree, I love the concept of Gue'vesa but haven't loved many of the conversions for the same reasons you said. I based mine off the Duncan Rhodes YouTube video, with Pig Iron Industries head being the big difference.

I feel alright about the Grenade Launcher conversion, but I love how the flamer came out
