:rolleyes:Ā Well, no great surprises there, then. (Edit: for clarity, I'm referring to the latest IC development)

Ā

What does everyone think regarding options?

Ā

Fighting is, I'm assuming, out? We're massively outnumbered, so...

Ā

If there is time, do we take Hadrian back to the garrison to try and crack the secure part of the Armoury?

Ā

Or do we blow up the transport, and leave the booby trap to blow up the garrison? (We won't have gained very much in terms of supplies by this option, but we will have denied those same supplies to the enemy, so in that sense its still a partial win?)

Ā

Ā

Ā

I think all of the above depends on who is where, when the various ships will reach their destinations, and when the garrison bomb is set to go off, so we need answers before we can even start to plan?

One frigate versus three frigates and a cruiser, even if the enemy is damaged, is not going to go well. Fighting is definitely out.

Ā

Going back and trying to open the armory is the best option as far as actual supplies we'll get- scuttling the supply hauler and destroying the armory deny the enemy supplies but we don't really gain anything aside from the small arms/ammunition we've taken so far. If we have time to get back before more than a single enemy ship can intercept, we probably should.

I think this might be a case of cut and run.Ā

Ā

Getting the garrison might have been good, but I don't think we have the time to go back, crack it, plunder it and get away without a fight, and any fight involving multiple enemy ships will cost us more in resources then the garrison is likely to provide (manpower, starship ammunition and so on).

Ā

As for scuttling the cargo carrier we are on, could we rig it to not blow until the enemy comes to investigate so as to maybe damage one of their ships?Ā
