Lovely, I used the BG Ancient as the base for my Sanguinary Priest conversion too. Amazing how everyone uses these guys for anything except an actual Ancient.

July vow done! That was a rather quick one. I managed to slot in a lot of hobby time. 

It was also the first time using some of the new army painter fanatic paints. They are a real treat I have to say! So good coverage and great for thinning with water for glazing.

Heavily based upon the Mk.III Iron Armour worn by ye olde Master Of The Arsenal model. 

My ploddkng along vow failed its deadline miserably, but I've gotten two Scorpius and two Predators nearly built and my vacation should start by sunday, so I hope to get a lot more built and maybe painted by next week!

The limit of two Plodding Along vows was purely for ease of tracking, they don't expire at the six months, it's still on til years end

For the month of July, I vow to finish the Wracks I vowed last month. I started painting their skin yesterday but otherwise haven't started them.
