Jolemai Posted January 12 Share Posted January 12 Plodding Along I, Reclusiarch Jolemai , embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the year of 2024 pledge to complete 2x Leviathan Dreadnought, 1x BA Dreadnought, 1x Contemptor Dreadnought, 1x Ironclad Dreadnought, 1x Venerable Dreadnought by year's end. Spoiler To do: BA Contemptor to be built, magnetised, and painted. Currently there are three weapon options for it BA Dreadnought to be magnetised, and completed. Will be served all three ways like my previous one BA Leviathan to be built, magnetised, and painted. Currently there are three weapon options for it Ironclad to be built, magnetised and painted. Brother Argent Posted January 13 Share Posted January 13 Well its been a rough week with little to no progress... brushes have died and ran out of paint I needed for the building. But I have managed to address these now and also looking at getting back to work (as in the paid kind) shorty so things are on the up and up. Well to further procrastinate on getting the buildings done I shall have another crack at the 2 hr challenge by attempting the Bestigor or whatever the hell its called from the January Miniature of the Month. Brother Argent Posted January 14 Share Posted January 14 Well in the interest of further procrastination I completed this from my Plodding Along: Finished it at 1am so excuse the roughness in points. I did manage to get heat staining on the barrels etc. I also managed to finish off the Interdictors I wasn't happy with from the Call to Arms so I now have the full marine part of Leviathan sorted. I tried to use some really old transfers on him and they didn't quite go to plan. Kept falling apart but eh, for a recycled model I am happy enough. After a quick look at the sprue I think I can get another 5 to 10 out of them if I use guardian bodies. Would just need to push mould some mandiblasters. This is an interesting prospect. Still haven't figured out how to take good pictures of my Necrons, though. It's either way too bright or too dark no matter what, it seems like.
