@Lysimachus thanks for the bolt pistol shot during the previous round's BA. I've been up to my eyeballs in RL stuff.

Also, I'll tack this onto my subsequent post, but I rolled a 49 (pass) for Gerhardt's parry test.

Damage added, not quite 'dead dead', but it's not great...

I won't apply the slippery blood effect, doesn't seem like a little bit extra is going to make that much difference?

Apart from the slippery floor check to avoid falling

Nah, this time we're gonna...B Positive.

That one was borderline between a Laugh Reaction and a Respectfully Disagree, just for how terrible a joke it was...

Alda is about to get turned into a pancake, but that brazier has to go. Now.

EDIT: I'd like to propose something, if I may? @Trokair

Sure

And equally if Alda needs to be scarified for the good of all she will do her duty.

Also, please note that if anyone is targeting the NW Brazier, Alda is still directly underneath it at the middle chain and doesn't have sufficient Dodge Move (Ag4 vs Blast 5) to avoid it when it falls, and she can't move away as part of the Bolter Assault, so unless someone does something she might get… squished by 2d10+10 Dam (Pen0)

As long as you low roll on the 2d10 she may yet survive that... (I jinxed it haven't I?)

(moved from main thread)

Bolter assault includes a free charge move, so anyone close enough could get into position to deflect the brazier in part off their pauldron or kick Alda to the curb.

Or charge with a jetpack to move the brazier away.

@Mazer Rackham - Are you going to take us on a strange journey?

Indeed, adventurer...a never-ending-story, if you will - but that's in a different thread...

[No sweat, change of plan!]

Not really, just spotted where Alda had put herself to cut the second one - just kind of fell in my lap, so to speak...

It is a valid point, though, that even if it goes to the next Round, Alda and Azadth get to act before Ang'Kal, so as long as the Bolter Assault knocks the last SI Point off the SE Cistern, you might be able to get away with it before the Prince (more than likely) chops Vafri into bits?

It's cutting it unbelievably fine, though...

I think the issue was that Alda has already used her actions this turn (to cut a chain and position herself (badly as it turns out) to cut the second next turn) and her remaining dodge this turn would not save her if somebody else severs one of the (two) chains required to bring it down during the Bolter Assult action this turn.

If we are making plans for beginning of next turn Alda can just cut it (half action) move 4m (have action) and then dodge (assuming dodge is successful) to get out of the blast 5 range.

I mean I had Alda go to the NW side as it was empty of enemies (relatively) and had something that needed doing  (cut the chains) that seemed more reasonable than charging a Bloodletter or shotting Ang'Kal. So I got myself into this mess and I'll take the consequences.

Don't think I don't see what you did there...

Ah ok, then. Was worth a thought - I'll see the result of the BA, and deliver violence where I can.

Gerhardt is kind of technically tied up in melee with a bloodletter at the moment, but as soon as that is resolved...

Perhaps given the current foe, it is good job that he cannot count to Eight.

With the crit damage, we're about to eat, we mightn't have the fingers left.
