Lysimachus
1 hour ago, Machine God said: Why are we worried about Alda? She's wearing armour surely. Ah, the words of an Astartes player with TB8/10 and AV8-10, where 2d10+10 Pen0 really isn't too scary... Poor Alda, however, has TB+AV=7, meaning that 1 Hit could potentially kill her in 1 go! Lysimachus
Ok, now that Omoc's roll has definitely destroyed the last cistern, and because of time constraints, I’m not going to bother starting Round 4. Between the Bolter Assault actions, and Alda and Azadth's Turns at the top of Round 4, there would be plenty of time to bring down the last brazier. Tro and Mazer, if you want to include any of those events (or interaction between your characters regarding them) in your next posts, please feel free? So, if everyone is good with it, I'm going to bring us back into Narrative Time (or at least Structured Time: Light) for the last bit. Edit: probably in the morning, GMT. Mazer Rackham
I'm happy for Alda/Tro to do the biz. Azadth will just stand around, quietly fuming the snake slithered under his rock... Lysimachus
Ok, I rolled it just to be complete, Alda got pretty lucky: 3+4+10 = 17 - TB3 - AV4 = 10 Wounds So she took a decent bump, but didn't get squashed! Low Roll indeed. Now at 8 wounds left of 21, so definatly heavily injured. Mike Zulu
@Lysimachus Feel free to progress the story under the assumption I just shoot the daemon. I was umming and arring about assisting Ulfurbur, but I’m not going to have time in the next couple of days to craft a proper response either way. Mazer Rackham
Thank you @Lysimachus for running this superb game, and to our crazy cast for their great contributions. Azadth, I think is most confused by the outcome, as he expected his head to be separated from his neck, but I am certain he can live with it. My to the other Players for putting up with my nonsense! Necronaut
@Lysimachus echoing everyone else, thank you very much for running this, putting up with all of us and generally keeping all of the cats herded down the primrose path (to the chopping block), as it were. This was a most enjoyable whodunnit, quite unusual for the typically blood-and-guts focused faire of a space marine-centric game. Mike Zulu
Thank you all for including me in what was my first (and likely not last) PBP game! And especially to @Lysimachus for GM'ing this adventure. I look forward to any sequal/continuation with these characters.
