Just checking we're all on the same page, each players' full XP at this point is 3,000 - starting 1k* plus 2k earned during the game. Spend it if you've got it!

*edit: and wherever Tro/Alda's starting point was, I can't remember now off the top of my head...

Upon review I had 500XP unspent following getting Medicae and Medicae +10 as per Lys price offer in Jannuary, so decided to get a simple WS advance so that Alda is a little less bad at swinging the newly acquired Power Sword.

With the most recent XP spent Alda is now at 10,000. And with that Rank 8 and a Sage Logister.

Right, hose them down with bolter fire. Got it.

I've not seen anything of @Urauloth since mid-December

I've barely had time to see anything of myself, honestly.
I got your message though, thanks! I'd love to come back, and making a bit of hobby time in my schedule would do me good.

That's awesome news!

I don't think you've missed a huge amount (due to the break) but we did have a fight against the Eldar Corsairs in their jungle palace on the Bazaar moon.

I autopiloted Vafri through that fight, he did take some wounds but he did also have one awesome moment where he chopped the head clean off of a power sword wielding Felarch! (the Corsairs Vt Sgt) So that was a nice little tale to add to the roll of honour of his fancy chainsword!

Anyway, you've got a few XP to spend if you want, but we won't be going into any more fights so it's not a desperate rush.

Glad to have you back with us!

@Lysimachus, where do we stand on wounds, fate and such?

If we are caring on from where we left of without any resets then I guess Alda’s first action will be to make use of the newly acquired Medicae and hand out some First Aid.

That's a good idea.

I'm not planning for you to go into another Structured Fight immediately, so there is some time for natural healing, but doing a bit of patching up is still a smart move!

I can't remember exactly what the Wounds status was for everyone at the end of the fight, but the opening post of the final Round is probably pretty close?

Fate Points will refresh as it is the start of a new Session, though.

Edited by Lysimachus

This is the wound count as of beginning of round three of the combat. Scanning through I don’t think anybody took any wounds from there to the end of the combat.

Azadth  WOUNDS 22/22 | FATE 2/3
Asterius  WOUNDS 21/23 | FATE 3/4
Gerhardt WOUNDS 10/24 | FATE 1/3
 Zidemi WOUNDS 10/22 | FATE 1/3
 Alda WOUNDS 20/20 | FATE 2/2
 Omoc WOUNDS 20/20 | FATE 4/4
 Vafri WOUNDS 07/19 | FATE 2/3
 Moridyn WOUNDS 04/20 | FATE 3/3

So if I do 4 first aid test ( for Gerhardt, Zidemi, Vafri and Moridyn) that should cover the worst.

Also since Fate has reset can we presume that those that are heavily wounded (for sure Vafri + Moridyn, and I assume the other two as well) used 1 fate to heal up 1d10 before the end of the combat.

If they are heavily wounded the First Aid is only going to remove 1 damage, while if they are lightly wounded A successful first aid test will restore 4

That seems logical that any FP left at the end of the previous Session could have been used to restore Wounds, so it should make your job a lot easier.

Honestly, with that included (and as mentioned that you won't be back into a fight again immediately) if its easier you are welcome to do first aid as a narrative thing, and we can assume that by the time we get to any more Structured stuff, everyone will be back to full health?

That workes for me.

Especily as I just made my rolls and was about to work on the narrative to explain this little episode.

Medicae First Aid

Int:48 +10(Medicae +10)= 58

Gerhardt – d100: 59, Fail

Zidemi – d100: 68, Fail more

Vafri  – d100: 75, Oh dear

Moridyn – d100: 58, Pass... Heal 4 if lightly or 1 if heavy wounded.

Instead I'll just have a little fluff piece up in a little while with Alda trying her best and go from there.

Or better dice, that migth also help elswehre.

I know Amaras is out of the game, but presumably the body is still comatose on the barge down by the river and the team would retrieve him before departing. While I don’t think he had a medikit on him I figured Alda would still make use of whatever supplies he had to first aid the team, so did mention that narratively.

If I am now the healer for the team then a medikit will be sought at the earliest opportunity, whether through requisition if we get back aboard ship, or plunder for well wherever the story goes.

He'll be fine, natural healing and Lys GM kindness will take care of the two points of damage.

But if you insit, heres a roll: 28.

Well look at that, Alda has manged ot correctly apply the band aid. Do you want a sweety with that. :teehee:

Does the Serial Number for the Needle match the Experimental Neuro-Toxin from the Lab?

It does.

Not sure what all the implication of that is, but I am sure we will know  when Lys thinks the time is right.

I did some number crunching and googling.

Turns out that the code is:

  • a phone number for a 'friendly' house of negotiable affection in Vermont,
  • the cam belt timing on a Mitsubishi Gallant,
  • a samsung JET(tm) hoover....
