I just see right now a post in Chapter Master Valrak's Twitter account, (Here) who states that a new boxed set for Horus Heresy is probably in the way. He is not saying it's a new edition, but he said that in the box are Salamanders and Iron Warriors.

And shows this decals, that are in the new Command Squad box:

Also sais that this maybe linked with a past rumors about plastic full Mk II.

What do you think about this?

It's looks like they substitute the SoH and IF decals, so maybe, just maybe eh, there's something interesting in the making

SoH and IF are also on that decal set. Above the ones shown there.

True, I didn't see the icon of the Imperial Fists. Anyway, until now they don't added more decals legions,  so this clearly means something new. What exactly? I don't know

Yeah fair point. It is remarkable that this set got SoH + IF but also IW + Salamanders and nobody else.

The more spicy rumours were of a new HH edition, and that GW will be looking to release the 30k Primarchs in plastic.

I think I agree with Valrak about being dubious about that primarch one, especially since it's apparently Angron (before demonhood) getting the treatment. I l

It would make sense to have another "mainline" game to match the three year rythm of 40k and AoS, so once a year you have a new edition for something.

But 30k? Is it really selling that well? If so that's great, but it did blindside me in that case.

Mk2. Crusade armour and saturnine pattern terminators were specifically mentioned. Excite!

Saturnine are looong overdue. Hope they stack up equally to 40k indomitus termies

Sincerely doubt it’s a new edition, but would not surprised given how vitriolic people are towards the studio people whenever they dare pop their heads up on social media or discord.

Was Dark Uprising a new Necromunda edition? Or like a reprinted rulebook with updated rules but not a new edition? Because that’s what this box would be analogous to.

Would rather they actually support the game via FAQs and sporadic updates than a new edition, which they're not exactly doing a great job of at the moment, so hopefully this is just a consolidated version as per the above as I don't think the core rules really need to be changed. Saturnine & Mark II would be very exciting though and it would be nice to see other Legions take the limelight for a bit.

Does the video say when this is expected?

I hope that they do a better job on the mark 2 helmets than they did on the last mark 3s. The previous mark 3 helmets were far better. The forge world Mark 2 White Scar helmets are pretty nice- hopefully it's the same calibre.

It seems strange to do MK II, which is very similar to MK III, so soon after the latter. Wouldn’t IV or V give the line better variety?

I suspect the Mk 4 replacement is a linked to all the resin kits designed to work with it that may not with the new upscaled version wheras with Mk2 currently out of production at GW its a much more straightforward release logistically.

There might be a theming factor too but i doubt it if Saturnine is involved as thats now a relatively new release in universe much unlike the old Mk2 suits.

Might be a reaction to the Mk3 release too? It sold out as i recall but there was a lot of upset people online and ive never seen an army box so available second hand. Doubt it personally but maybe?

EDIT

Whoops, forgot my fave Mk, the fiiiive. Which is apparently a devil to do in plastic.
