    Warshrikes Space Marine Chapter, as commissioned by Claws and Effect. Note that this commission called for a silver logo on black background. As pretty much only ALPS printers are capable of printing silver, and those are a rather rare breed, this decal has been designed with standard home printers in mind. This requires a specific, and rather simple 'cheating' technique to produce the logo as intended. Prepare the surface you intend the decal to rest on by painting it silver. Print the PDF file onto clear decal paper. Since most home printers do not use white ink/toner, the areas of the file that appear white will print clear. Trim the decal from the sheet, being sure to leave a good bit of black surrounding the logo. Apply the decal following normal procedures (Winterdyne's Applying Waterslide Decals guide produces excellent results). Once the decal has been fully applied (including final gloss coat), use black paint to fill in the non-logo portions of the background surface, as well as blend the black portion of the decal into your background. A final clear matte or gloss coat, and you're done!
