Quick question - from the augur reports I assume the Station and the Razor are void shielded ?

Technically a question for your augurman, but I'll deal with it here for speed.

The Razor is on standby power, that much can be ascertained by her EM signature, but the station is equipped not with a void shield, but more akin to a deflector shield, a low-powered (by void shield standards) umbrella, if you will, to protect docked vessels.

It can be assumed that it is semi-permeable to craft.

So, for the assault/boarding team, I have:

  • Ukie
  • Obi
  • Kraggan
  • Varne
  • Mourn

If anyone else wants to go speak up now please, as my next post will move you all across in one of those wonderful Krokodils....

Alternatively, if you wish, the boarding team can go across in the Wasp. I can provide a pilot.

Varne has the operate skill, I quite liked the idea of him being able to drive tanks and aircraft

Well Kraggan is Mantronic.

Round the decay

Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare

The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Hagga will take a back seat on this one, I've been hogging too many posts.

(Maybe he can use the offscreen opportunity to try and build bridges with the other mortal officers?)

Shouldn't be a problem, even without Operate (Aeronautica) there shouldn't be any Tests to make, so if you want to take the pilot's chair, I have no objection.

EDIT: In fact, once a few folks have stuck their oar in about getting ready, feel free to craft a post about this, I'll give some instruction for narrative in the IC when we're set.

FTFY.

Maybe you should have your Stygian Strangler go for a small stroll deep into the gun decks to lament your lack of broadsides*.

For the other folks, I intend to wrap Juno quickly, and move you onto your Compacts.

* Hint. Hint.

Just to be 100% clear, what exactly is the Krokodil? I searched back through the thread and I can't tell if it's a transport aircraft or something more akin to a boarding torpedo - the one in the previous mission was catapulted from the Dredge by the looks of it.

Edited IC post to act on hints. Side point: I shoved a name in for the Helmsman, but it's really a placeholder if you had names in mind for any/all of the bridge officers?

Edit: I think a Krokodil is sort of like a Caestus Ram*, but much, much lower quality of course!

*single tubed, obviously. I guess kinda like that SW dog-head thing that was their version of a Stormraven?

Catapulting from the Dredge is...de rigeur, old son. You'll get used to it.

I haven't looked yet. Did you call one of them Claude? I think Helm is a Claude.

Pretty much.

They're a complete jango-fett lego set of Caestus, Shark Assault boat, and fighter.

If you want to picture a Stormwolf, was it? That's not far off. I mean these guys hate 'em, but I love them, basically because they're made of tinfoil and asbestos and they crash all the time.

EDIT: *Cough* Spoiler, *cough*

Spoilers.

@BadgersinHills I sure hope you selected the Osmotic Gill as one of your working power armour sub-systems (sorry if I forgot to check in the OOC/IC before we embarked). The 500m walk to the hangar (plus time needed to unlock the bloody thing) might be a bit drafty. In a prior BC game, my character survived an extended space walk with non-vac-sealed armour but things got a little hairy. Make sure your dice are properly warmed up if you're not adequately equipped otherwise.

Hope it wasn't the Uber Eats delivery guy, I ain't paying him.

EDIT: Just to note, that if it's zero-g, you could push off, using AG and rapidly make for the door. Just mind your head, because Impact Damage isn't fun. Also anyone without a sealed environment suit can purloin a voidsuit from an equipment locker, of if a Marine can do the Mucranoid thing.

Omg, just read up on Baraduk hehehehehehehe

Careful, the Daemon formally known as Baraduk (he will retain this name for now) might have his eye on you...

that...delicious little spat in the landing bay was giddy.

Hang on, hang on, hang on...

Is this confirmation that what we assumed was a Bloodthirster summoned/possessed Atesh at Brimstone and then ate Baraduk, was in fact Delly? The above certainly doesn't sound like a Bloodthirster talking...?

I think I need to go back and reread the fall of Brimstone section...
