Very excited to see what's going to happen next! If my maths is right, it's now very unlikely (but still just possible?) for Delly to catch and slam Ukalegon into the floor...?

 

Am I right in thinking that this Dodge/Countermove will be Delly's Reaction for this Round, so she won't be able to avoid Kraggan's axe blow?

The daemon could very well still skewer our raptor-in-training, but he has made just about as good of a show of it as one could ask. If Delly doesn't opt to dodge this one, she'll sure wish she had.

Edit: scratch all of that, got it wrong.

 

But if ok I will wait to do Eska's Charge until the proper point at the end of the Initiative order, as at the moment no-one is Engaged with the Sirensong (I think?) so it avoids a -20 to Hit for everyone that shoots at the little monsters?

It's ok if you do it now, as most of the NPC's are Stunned and will be unable to act before Round 2 anyway.

 

I'll calc up some Mag Dam from the Alphas which will take place before the charge. Note that this will mainly be from bolters, as Frags will splash Kraggan and Ukalegon.

Abundant apologies for dragging my turn out! I'm hoping the stacking critical effects haven't ended the encounter prematurely (I'm guessing as a greater daemon of Slaanesh, Delphynie can ignore many or most of the critical effects).

It varies, anything with 'the stuff of nightmares' ignore all critical hits that don't destroy them outright not all daemons have it - including Delphynie.

 

Why more than one zealous hatred critical roll btw? Special talent?

I'm just working out Eska's Charge, but I had a question: does the Horde Size Bonus replace the Size Trait entirely, or do you apply both?

 

The Sirensong are Puny(-20) but as a Horde they might also be (+30) or more depending how many are left?

 

I know they lost 20 Mag from Delly's scream, and whatever from the Alphas' bolter fire...?

EDIT: just on the reply to AT, the sorcerer Xerxes attends - I might have got the wrong end of the stick - it wasn't Rakash, but instead Khardon, his rival? Is that correct?

I believe so yes. Rakash is up on their feet while Khardon was the one thrown across the room correct ?

Blimey, those little critters are nastier than I thought! Eska is glad they were momentarily distracted by those cardboard cutouts of Terminators! (Huron is a sneaky whatsit! :laugh:)

 

 

 

More seriously, that was just the 2 already wounded Termis that are dead, right? I can't believe they could do sufficient damage to take out the one that's only lost 1 Wound... :eek:

Mate I rolled dice, and they were ALL 10's.

 

It was indeed the Wounded Terminators, they were basically only at 5 Wounds a piece after Delly's scream.

EDIT: Note that the Sirensong now have very little stopping them to consolidate into Kraggen, Ukalegon (if he's still alive) Huron, and the last TDA.

In other news, if Necro's armour has taken sufficient punishment to count as destroyed, that jump pack is likely to cook off...

 

I mean we're laughing and joking here, but the attacks + dodge etc, might result in Ukalegon's head coming off, which means no Infamy Burn, and Necro is back to Chargen. If that happens, I will negotiate an 'inheritance' from this character to be applied to the next one.

 

The real danger here is the placement of the Hit on the Head. If it was right up at the front, it would likely not be the killing blow, and if it was at the end there would be a better than even chance of missing it. IIRC his helmet is now off as well, meaning no environmental seal if something goes wrong, and no bonce bucket for explosions.

 

Let this be my last word on this, regardless: The gloves are off.

 

Necro has literally accounted for half of Delly's health, which is a hell of an accomplishment, but the chances are good he's now going to die for it.

 

TL;DR, you WILL need to do crazy things to survive, but; if you do crazy things, crazy things will happen. No safety net in this game.
