Trokair
47 minutes ago, Mike Zulu said: How much control would we have over an alternate exit? If the Portal is un-achored from the Webway gate machinery on the other side then setting the exit somewhere you want is going to depend on the dice. Good results get you near where you need to go (and potnatialy above water) bad results are anybodys guess. I think a Challenging (+0) Willpower test from Mazer would do in this case. 47 minutes ago, Mike Zulu said: Perhaps making the portal semi-permeable would make it easier to approach from our side, and we would need to be ready to swim once we cross over. Correct, it would stop the water rushign through (but not anythign in the water), so you can aproch and step through. I am aware that none of you have Swim, but it is a Basic skill, additionaly your Helemt will provide you with a limited amount of oxygen, so no worries there. I agree that it might be best to make the portal semi-permeable, and at least stabilise it, then think about what to do thereafter. Shuriken Weapons will be fine in the environment, but Destructor will be a Depthcharge of Mons-u-mental proportions. Unless anyone else chimes in - I'll do that, GM.
