Anything with blasters, dark lances, etc

I knew I forgot something, :facepalm:let me just reequip some of the Kabalites.

Jokes aside, the only Dark Lances and Splinter Cannons are on the Raiders and Venoms and I will randomly determine which one each vehicle has when the vehicle lifts of and starts moving. (they will also have their own initiative roll at that point.

As for Shredders and Blasters, some of the Red and Orange Kabalites have them, but I am sticking to a 1 in 10 ratio for each of them (so for every 10 Kabalites 8 will have splinter rifles, 1 a blaster and 1 shredder). Will start marking them on the map when they become relevant (and or good line of sight from the team to have discerned the difference in armaments).

Tried to understand some rules a bit better this turn. Guy I'm aiming at seems to be 60 - 80 m away looking at the map scale and Reaper Launcher range is 275m so I think I get the close range bonus for plus 10 (subtract one hit if I'm wrong).

That is correct

Ialandranth - aiming for the bushes, not going to risk falling short and not getting out of LoS to the bulk of the shooters

Roll: 6, 7 - max distance 23m

Good work, nicely done.

As the others have already said that is indeed correct.

With such a long range getting the +10 is easy on most engagements as any engagement that would require the use of long range (-10) (for targets more than twice the range of the weapon) or even extreme range (-30) (for targets more than three times the range of the weapon) would be very non interactive for the other players.

With a reaper launcher you could shoot at someone a smidgen under 1.1km away as max range is up to 4 times the stated weapon range. Think of the weapon range as listed in profiles more of a good effective range instead of any actual limitation.

Noted, and probably a good call.

Saoirse:

Will try to use turn to snap out of shock, since that -10 is a problem:

WP 50

D100: 10.

May act normally next turn IIRC.

Page 232 under ‘Shock and snapping out of it’ it says players may attempt to snap out of it with a Willpower test if the entry on the Shock table specifies it.

The result in the 41 to 60 range on the table does not specify it (unlike both the result above and below on the table). So rules as written I don’t think you can snap out of this one.

However I will allow it with the following caveat:

The cannot willing approach the source of the Fear still applies, as does the -10 to all test if it directly involves the source of the Fear (i.e. targeting the source of the fear, trying to dodge or parry the source of the fear, exchanging witty banter with the source of the fear  and so on).   I am including the Executioner Doppelganger in this as that is an extension of Saoirse’s mind.

So the general -10 to all tests would be gone, allowing you to act freely in most ways, but the Dracon is still terrifying and affecting you.

Given the limitation, if instead of the Willpower test you want to take different action this turn you are free to change your turn.

Edit: I will do the Ornage Kabalites and autopilots this evening (Tuesday, so in about 20 hours) and the next turn start either then (time permitting) or tomorrow morning.

I am going to give it a few more days (say till about Fridayish) as I asume that with Easter (and school holiday if aplicable) Mike Zulu (and other plays as well, but it is his turn first) is just busy.

After that I will Autopilot as needed to get the turns flowing again.
