Looks like we have 4 votes for longlas.

@Machine God, @A.T., @BadgersinHills, @Trokair, do you guys prefer longlas or lasgun?

We may want to pick up some alternates for horde work down the line but aimed shots as a solid choice for starting characters :p

As Por can’t use either I will go with whatever the majority wants / what the people actually using the regiment main weapon want.

So looks like Longlas wins out.

Majority vote has gone to the longlas, so can each of you please replace your M36 lasguns with a longlas :HQ:

When you're adding your entries onto the Data thread, please remember to add a little something for your Comrades to bring them to life - you'll also be in full control of them mechanically and narratively, so those of you who have them are effectively playing 1.5 characters

@Machine God & @Lysimachus, you can either edit your posts or drop a separate one for Roland and Biscuit

Please have a look and tell if I have missed anything?

  • Have you given yourself enough frag grenades? 2 for Line Infantry +1d5 frags for Ogryn (all good if you rolled 1)
  • Missing Marksman talent for Snipers doctrine.
  • I think you've taken both Intimidate and Survival skills when you should pick one - unless I've missed something?
  • Not related to your character sheet, but could you drop a brief description of Maks' appearance on your data entry too please?

Yeah, I'm done.

  • I don't think you'd be issued the flak armour since you're already rocking carapace - saves you some encumberance too.
  • Make sure to add if you're right or left-handed.

Me three, I think?

  • Unsure why your body has AV4? Should be 5 all round for the best guard flak.

Por's sheet is finished I think, saving 100 XP to save up for that Agility Advance.

  • All looks good.

I'm done aside from main weapon I believe.

  • Missing AV5 on left leg, unless he has a peg-leg I don't yet know about

Funny, I was toying with the idea of Jack O'plate, but it only saved a couple of Kilos, and the loss of the extra pip wasn't really worth it, so full hard armour is no problem.

Blackjack's a Leftie. An interesting but not insignificant statistic - there are a noticeable amount of left-hookers in the SAS. Not that I'm saying I'm anything like them, but just that people with Sinister Handedness, have a...reputation.

Should be sorted now.

Character Bio is a work in progress. I will be adding Biscuits in there too.

I only did the D5 roll for Frags from Ogryn. I actually a 5 on my D10 so I should have got 3. I will add in the other 2 from Line Infantry.

I will also replace Biscuits' M36 with a Long-Las.

Can I put Technical Knock in brackets under Talents to show that Maks can't use it yet)?

With my experience of Sister Argenta being a beast with the long-las in Rogue Trader, I'll go for long-las.

I'll go for the sniper rifle for my Ratling then. Thinking of names...

Sergeant Tek is nearing completion, just need to fill in gear and what-not. Have we settled on whether we're going to be rocking the long-las or M36?

Edit: disregard, I don't believe sergeants get the regimental favored weapon, but do get the weapons that come with the standard kit. I was going to prefer an M36 for Tek anyways for his long range weapon as he is more of an all-around/support character rather than primary combat.

The Longlas is not the regimental favoured weapon (that is the meltagun for basic and the autocannon for heavy), it is the regimental Main weapon included in the Universal Standard Kit (as amended by our regiment and doctrines) which as far as I can tell from page  68 (standard Kit) and 82 (Sergeant) you do get.

So I think weapon wise you should have a Chainsword, 2 Laspistol (one from sergeant, one from regiment kit/extra equipment), 2 Frag grenades, 2 Krak Grenades, a Lascutter and a Longlass.

@Lord_Ikka your pics are still awesome!

My AI-art-fu is weak, is there any chance you could plug my description for Cal into your heretical image-creating wizardry box, and pull a lovely sepia toned pic of him out?

Appearance: Early twenties, tanned skin, dark eyes and long hair tied back, light stubble, fit and healthy if a little lean. Wears mountain camo fatigues, flak armour, and a leather duster, all faded and slightly scruffy. Carries long-las across his back and meltagun in his hands.

Much appreciation for any assistance you can provide!
