I wonder how soon we get a new Nob kit.

The new Nobz look now propa big compared to Boyz (as they should) and hopefully the new kit will have the all the old options and more.

But the real question is that if they refresh Mega Nobz, how dey’z gonna make dem more snazzy den dem Mega-Beakiez.

Dem Mega-Beakiez ’ave Rokkit Racks, ’anmerz, Big Dakka Shootas and more.

We’ze gotta show all dem gitz dat Orkz ’ave da bestest, shiniest, killest WHAAAGH-gear around.

I think the current meganobz kit suffers from looking immobile, not unstoppable. By contrast I really liked assembling the current nobz kit, there are lots of interesting and characterful bits. I like the dynamism of the Armageddon nobz and I hope that translates to mega armour and all the other equipment options.

Strength 10 (and 11 on the waagh, presuming the rules for that stay the same) are still really big break points, so the klaw still seems the better choice if you want your boss to melee most vehicles.  That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it also picked up a buff to one of its stats.

Depends. If it’s not like a 4+ vs 6+  or a 2+ vs a 5+difference for wounding it seems like number of attacks generally wins out a lot of the time.

or if there’s not an AP difference or noticeable damage differences

Nice wee article on how the Boyz and Grots from the Armageddon box go together. Seems like the most customisation of any pushfit kit we've ever seen.

Very pleasantly surprised, wasn't planning on getting the whole box but the Ork half looks great.

Yeah these Boyz are a great solution to the push-fit problem. With the previous two xenos antagonists, their basic push for troops can get by by looking kind of cloney because Necron Warriors and Termagants are just kinda of cloney anyway. But Boyz need character and variety.

Gives me real hope on a MPK kit, assuming that's coming

I've really enjoyed both of these videos, it's a nice way to see some of the thought behind each element of the models and it's got me really excited to get both halves painted up. Really hope we continue to see this with model ranges going forward, would've loved to see one on the new City of Sigmar and Custode releases. Also a lovely way to credit the people who create the wonderful minis, which is never a bad thing!

I would not be surprised in the slightest if the Ork prices come down dramatically. I think every edition we've had the online consensus be "wow the Space Marine half is so boring, I bet everybody will be clamouring for the Xenos/Chaos half!" Then once it's actually been released, Ebay is full of non-LSM halves struggling to move for months.

I'm on the fence. I haven't played 40k since the first months of 10th. I'd quite like the Orks but not enough to buy the box and deal with selling what I don't want.

If the price comes down by a decent amount, I might grab them (although in my head I was thinking they'd just be a bit more than the price I paid for the SM half of the 8th edition box - haha fat chance!)
