Deathwing Knights are hardly unique to be fair. Not every kit needs bespoke rules, it's bloat at some point.

And Sanguinary Guard are just Vanguard Veterans, and Blood Claws are just Intercessors.

Aesthetically they're different animals and that's a good thing.

Subfactions get bespoke models. Otherwise, they'd just be Green/Red/Baby blue Ultramarines.

Oh, and I definitely hope we will get a bike captain and lieutenant!

Valrak had already said that a bike captain was supposed to be coming.

I sincerely hope the orks win next week and we see something interesting. The marine bikes are fine they just feel very dull.

These are ultimately phoned in, but space marine bikers of all varieties always have been.

Nonsense, Ravenwing upgraded bikers and the Ravenwing knights/command were both fantastic, the polar opposite of phoned in.

Ravenwing knights were good actually, yeah good point. The basic upgraded bikers were nothing special

I like them, but the question is do I like them enough to go with the 6 I already have? That will depend on the price (not expecting the same savings as I got three with indomitus then paid £8.99 for the other with Imperium magazine )

Aesthetically different animals is fine. Where did I say otherwise?

Bike Libby would be an interesting option they could do later down the line.

Phobos lieutenant on a bike. Tacticus lieutenant on a bike. Gravis lieutenant on a bike. Jump pack lieutenant on a bike. The options are limitless!

In all honesty, I think the bikers were always my least loved out of the truly classic Space Marine kits. It always felt like every other race had a better spin on the "War Motorcycle" concept, whether it was the Orks with their tricked-out speed-freaks machines or the Eldar with flying bikes that are basically miniaturized fighter jets. The Space Marine version was always just the most boring possible take.

These are better than those originals, I think, but they still don't feel like they're doing anything that justifies their existence.

My point is if aesthetically different models is fine, then where is the harm of them having slightly different loadouts. The SS Space Marine Unit Bloat sailed a long time ago.

The melee weapons and the different styles of chest decoration are good. I like the different style of power sword and the classic power axe. They are still outriders and I still don't care for this bike design, but at least there's some variety in there. Shame the Indomitus style vambrace isn't optional.

I like a nice multipart kit over pushfit, I like GW didn't try to give it top billing because technically it's just replacing a kit that already exists with marginal improvements. Happy to see some power weapons, conspiring how I can maybe turn them into Swiftclaws with the Blood Claws slimmed down armour...
