The Boyz are revelling in their ability to carry both a slugga and a shoota. The kit includes the full selection of upgraded dakka options – a big shoota, a rokkit launcha, and a burna – all of which can be included in a single squad without any of the ladz dropping their choppas.

The Nob has loads of options, including a kombi-skorcha and kustom choppa or power klaw, or a two-handed big choppa. He also has a little squig friend, and the unit is accompanied by an ammo runt!

Ah so the orks won this one then. Wonder if that was the result GW were waiting for when they delayed the results  these do look good though.

Gotta think, it's also been the "safe" reveal as well like we knew there would be new boyz.

They look superb.

It seems to imply you can run skorchas, big shoota and rokkit launcher in the same 10 ork mob too which is interesting.

I'll be grabbing a box or so. I don't need more boyz but they look fantastic.

I'm not saying I called in when I said the third week would be a miraculous Ork win, but I kinda called it (cough never5get Konor).

This was confirmed in a previous article, you can take one of each special weapon per 10 models now.

their article sounds like PR way of saying we didn´t want nonspace marine players to get mad

"But with the final two battle zones in the hands of Ghazghkull’s forces, we’re left at a stalemate. We promised when the campaign began that the overall winners would get a brand new detachment to commemorate their success, but what do we do if there are no winners?

No clear progress. Untold death and destruction on both sides. If that isn’t the most Warhammer 40,000 outcome possible, we don’t know what is, so it’s only right that both sides get their new detachments."

Very lovely new models but this is getting to intresting point that basic ork boyz mob of what... 20 is gonna look lil overly funky?

Now that's a proper combi-weapon. Heresy designers take note lol

That face is amazing though. I don't know what he's about to do but I wouldn't want to be in the way. Unless he's just seen a weirdboy explode along with some of his mob.

Vengeful Hosts seems fine for Blood Angels players or Raven Guard looking to get extra oomph out of their two characters.

I'm not as familiar with Orks but giving Scouts to a Mob unit seems fine.

With these, those from the launch box, the ones from the initiation set and the somewhat recent but now old monopose ones (included in the combat patrol magazine), there won't be too many repeated poses even if you want to field a large amount of boyz !

I kinda like the Ork detachment, but the "hidden mob gets lethal hits" stratagem seems very situational, unless I'm missing something. I mean, Shootas are range 18" and you have to be more than 15" away to be hidden, so chances seem a bit slim that you'll get much use out of it?
