Rlyehable
Ship's Captain Satsuma sat in the command chair the Oracles strike cruiser Shooting Star. "Update." "Passive scans shows about 10 cities on this hemisphere. Glorious Duty is reporting 9 on the opposite side. The cities are spaced out fairly evenly, denoting a planned development for the planet. The planet is maily an agrarian society. Main export are grains to nearby systems. Heat signatures shows normal population signatures except in the city of Mustai" reported the Augury Officer "wich shows no population signatures at all. It also indicates that parts of the city are burning." "Active scan." commanded Satsuma. A half hour later, Ship's Capt. Satsuma, Capt. Nakata (in charge of ground forces aboard Shooting Star, and a number of veteran sergeants. To the right of Satsuma was a large stack of partchment containing the information from the active scan. It confirmed the passive scans. Mustai shows no movement. It shows no communications. Some building appeared to be on fire, but there was no obvious battle damage. "Onomichi, Nobuhiko, and Yasuhumi, you will each take a team and scount the city. Astartes Consul
Hi all, I asked RT if he could sticky it, and he said no for good reasons. Any way, thets get the ball roling: The drop pod slammed into the matalic earth, it's guns opened fire, devistating everything within 50 yards. It's maw like doors slid open, out came death, in a nightmare form. Xerian charged, he clove heretics into with his thunder hammer, smashing whole squads into the air. The minions of chaos had no time to react, they were compeatly shattered. Xerian laughed as he guned down the fleeing chaos scum, but his laugh stoped as he saw a figuer on the hirizon. It was joined by another and another, chaos marines, they advanced through the mass of fleeing heretics, killing those in sight. Suddenly, a burst of bolter fire smashed into the traitors flank, the buildings around them were lit up by the masses of bolter fire comming from them. The chaos marines were destroyed. A marine in green armour steped out from a building on the right, The Warriors of Vegance had attacked. kepp the fluff coming guys, please don't let the post go off the front page. cheers 'THE CAPTAIN' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/63117-the-garren-project/page/5/#findComment-732715 Share on other sites

Lucas Van Gallieon
Battlefleet Keda of the Blades of Deliverance space marine chapter hung over the small collection of Planets that made up the Bracken System. The three Cordanian Destroyers that escorted the Battle barge Heaven's Fury formed a defensive picket around their flagship as she held her postion and waited for the right moment to strike... Captain Marcus Kotare gazed at through the battle barge's viewport at the lush, mountainous orb that was the Bracken system's most outer planet; Bracken IV. Despite his composture, the Captain was full of nerves and turned immediantly as he sensed Uriel Arkantos behind him. "Are the preperations complete?" he asked the Codicer. "The strike forces are assembled and awaiting the order to launch Captain" replied the Librarian. "Excellent, now we wait". The Librarian sensed the Captain's unease, "Fear not Brother Captain, Lucas is a fine leader and a more than capable warrior, he will complete his Objective soon..." Marcus turned to regard the librarian curiously, "Your are certain?" he asked. A fient smile played across Uriel's face, "I am certain Captain, we need only to be ready to secure our own objectives before the enemy can react." "Of course," repiled the Captain, "I am merely hesitant of the tedious measures required to establish a foothold so early in this campaign". "I understand Captain, but you did not select the course of action yourself, as such, I sense that you do not approve of Lucas' plan because you did not have time to properly evaluate the risks involved," Marcus turned back towards the viewport as the librarian continued, "but it needed to be done, this planet, while out of immediant renforcement of the great enemy's fleet assets, has exceptional orbital defense, but if we capture this world, we can use that to offset our numeric disadvantage in the ship to ship engagments that will follow..." Marcus frowned to himself, the Librarian's words were true. "... Lucas' idea of using the falling debris of shipwrecks from previous engagments to overshadow the drop pod insertion was the perfect method of maintaining the element of surprise and avoiding crippling losses that would be detrimental to the chapter itself, once he has taken the orbital defense headquarters, we will have a window of oppertunity to take the spaceport and major population centres in the vincinity, and from there, Captain, we shall have no problems claiming the planet in the name of the Emperor." Marcus shook his head, smiling as he suddenly realised that he had no need to worry, Uriel's view was perfectly correct; he found himself wondering why he even doubted that the plan would work. Lucas was capable of completing his mission, why else would he have been elevated to Crusade Champion? He turned back to face the librarian once more, "Thankyou brother, you are correct, Lucas will succeed and we shall prevail..." ****** Lucas smashed another heretic aside with a backhanded swipe of his fist before pulling his sword out of the blucking corpse that was pinned to the wall, letting the dying man slump to the ground. Deflecting a blow from another heretic with his freed weapon, he then spun around with his halberd in the other hand, cutting down the last three heretics in one brutal stroke. "Advance!" he cried, his armoured form vaulting over the hastily constructed barricades as he entred the command structure with his fellow Swords of Dorn folowing close behind. He came across a door, kicked it in and was met with a volley of lasgun fire, which merely discoloured the blue and sliver metal of his armour. A grenade hit the floor infront of him, which he kicked back towards defenders. The resultant explosion reverbeated throughout the corridor, stunning the defenders and he burst through them like a thunderbolt, leaving severed limbs and ripped arteries in the wake of his blades, he had to hurry, before the installation could call for help... He stoped at a heavy blast door, the control room had to be beyond, "Brother Mattia!" he called. Brother Mattia moved up, levelled his meltagun at the door and pulled the trigger. A searing, bright lance of heat stuck the centre of the door and the room temperature increased dramatically. Mattia chanted a litany of firing, keeping his finger on the trigger as the heavy alloy blucked inwards and slued off the door frame like hot wax, even over the intense noise, screams of alarm could be heard from beyond. "With me Brothers!" Lucas called, hurling himself through the newly created gap. He saw a vox officer frantically trying to call for aid and, twisting his armoured form as he doged an enemy blow, threw his power sword at the officer. The heretic didn't have any time to react, as the ancient blade struck the man in the head, taking a substainial preportion of his skull with it as the it spun through the air and embedded itself in the opposite wall. The last of the defenders were hacked down mercilessly, haved deemed his objective completed, Lucas ordered his battle group to secure the facility and established a communication channel for the fleet to signal the attack... Rlyehable
An Oracle thunderhawk gunship circled the city of Mustai. Fires burned here and there. Transport vehicles were abandoned in the street, doors open. Most of the doors to the dwellings were open. The gunship made three quick touchdowns, each time spewing forth armored figures before rising again. Vet. Sgt. Onomichi led a squad from the north. Vet. Sgt. Nobuhiko duplicated the effort from the southwest. And Vet. Sgt Yasuhumi's squad prceeded from the southeast. The first thing that Onomichi noticed was the lack of birdsong. He made a note in his mission log. He did not know if avian life was existant on this world or not, but most human worlds had been populated with some form of birds. The sun was beating down on the city from a cloudless sky, interrupted only by the billowing smoke of several fires throughout the city. Shadows were sharp. The colors were muted. Even the florescent yellow of the Oracles armor appeared to be bleached to a pastel under the sun. Despite the brighness, there was a chill in the air. Not that the power armored soldiers noticed it other than as a number on the environmental readouts. The wind was blowing loose paper and leaves through the streets. The city was empty. No people, no bodies, no animals, no nothing. The shaved scalp of Onomichi crawled. There was no battle damage anywhere. "Fan out and check the domiciles." ordered Onomichi. The search turned up no people. It was like every person and animal in the city just left. Nobuhiko's squad was finding the same conditions in the small industrial district. Automated machines were still running, but no one was manning them. "Check the bunker" nobuhiko ordered. The bunker was empty. All of the emergency supples were still there, unopened. Yasuhumi's squad prowled through an agricultural district. The huge silos stood silent vigil over the squat warehouses and dingy streets. The few trees that were planted in the area were brown and desicated. "Biological sample" yasuhumi stated to no one in particular, confident that his order would be accomplished. All three teams proceeded through the city. They advanced slowly, checking for ambushes, but none came. Two hours later, the three teams met in the city plaza. The three team leaders compared notes. Onomichi called for pickup from the thunderhawk. The thunderhawk began a spiral search pattern around the city. A half hour later they found evidence of a large number of people passing through a grain field headed south. Onomichi called in the report. edited for coheriency 2005.01.26 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/63117-the-garren-project/page/5/#findComment-735239 Share on other sites
Alec
Chapter Champion Desmodeus stood ready and waiting for commands from Clonius The Angels Vigliant Master of Sanctity. Clonius was giving the 19 Canticles of Hatred, read by all Angels Vigilante Chaplains upon the eve of Battle, to the mass of the 50 or so Space Marines present. Candles burned on the top of Clonius' standard as it fluttered in the light breeze. "...burn the Heretic, Slay the Xenos and win Glory in the Name of The Lion and Him on Earth!" cried Clonius into the night, his voice catching on the breeze and drifting toward the sky like smoke for a camp fire. The Marines all hit their chest plates with massive fists. " In The Lion We Have Faith! To The Emperor we Give our Devotion! To The Chapter We Give Our Lives! To Ourselves, We Give Nothing!" they cried as one. "Good Speach, Clonius, Nice and Short," spoke Desmodeus as he strolled out of the shadows his dark jade cloak swirling around him as he walked. "But I don't think that faith alone will carry the battle ere the sun rises." " Aye," replied Clonius. His voice seemd gravaly, but after 250 years of shouting oaths to the Emperor and rallying courage in the twin hearts of his men would make his voice coarse. " It will take skill, devotion and faith in equal measure if we are to break them. But our men will follow me ,and you, to whatever end." " To whatever end..." "My Lord!" cried a voice from the press of marines " The Scouts Return! They Report that the Citadel Garrant is aflame with unnatural light! The Citadel burns!" " Then we must make ready! UP WARRIORS OF THE LION! UP AND FEAR NO DARKNESS!" With those words The Angels Vigilant moved into Rhino APCs and prepared to move. - - - - - - - - THE ANGELS HAVE ENTERRED THE FRAY!!! Alec
5 Rhino APCs sped across the barren planes outside of the Citadel Garrant. A massive oforce of traitorous imperial guard stood before them, chanting in unison to their blaspemous gods. A nimbus of multi couloured light was burning the lower levels of the mighty, jet black Citadel. Monsterous warmachines of Chaos pounded the Citadel with daemonic flame and shell from their guns. The Imperial Forces inside where fighting a loosing battle and were taking heavy casualtys from the Defilers bombarding them from afar, blazing recakge fallin from the Citadel's walls as the shells struck. Desmodeus flung open the top hatch of his squad's Rhino and looked on in despair. At least five thousnad traitors were spread out before them and a trouppe of terrible chaos Warmachines were there too. He knew he was going to die this day, but he would meet it gladly. He had let his chapter down on Kevlof, a hive world where the Angels VIgilant lost many gallant Marines, but they still said he was one of the most valourous Marines ever know. But he will give his life to his Chapter, willingly, and do what he could in death. "Full Throttle Driver! Now for Wrath and The Lion's Honour!!" he cried out as a wind whipped his face and his long blond hair flew behind him making him look majestic and noble. The Rhino lurched foward toward the enemy gaining speed with every metre. They would die, but die with valour and give time to the Defenders. This was the last charge of Desmodeus, or so he thought... the-betrayer
A faint dot appeared in the skies of Actis the second world in the Suro system, they quickly became many, the drop pods slammed into the earth sending traitors diving for cover and crushing those not fast enough to move. There doors blasted open, out poured the Angels of Lament led by Grandmaster Uriel himself, he drew his great black power sword pressing the activation rune as he ran, he roared the Chapters battle cry * DEATH!!!!! * every marine around him returned the call as the smashed into the force guarding the small traitor out-post. As soon as it began the battle was over, traitor corpses lay all around and no one angel had fallen. Uriel stood in the centre of the out-post. He was pleased, his brothers had fought well, but he knew this battle was far from over, he turned to a marine next to him * brother, radio the fleet, tell them we have taken the out post and to send reinforcements * with out a sound the marine nodded and moved off to complete his task. Uriel turned back once more and looked west across one of the worlds vast plains, they reminded him of there home world Rowdan, and one thought filled his mind * it has begun.* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/63117-the-garren-project/page/5/#findComment-737215 Share on other sites
Rymeer
Curwin System, Planet Four: Alphasia. The Simba's Paw, escorted by the Hunter Frigate Mesa and the Gladius Class Frigate Purity, settled into orbit over Alphasia in the company of the Inquisitional ship already in orbit. Brother Captain Riss and Chaplain Lantee agreed to follow Inquisitor Kiphon to the surface and support his actions against whatever forces should attempt to bar the Inquisitor's mission. Riss looked about himself at the interior of the Crusader Pattern Land Raider's interior and the eight Terminator suited brother marines strapped to their places awaiting the Thunderhawk Transporter's landing. The Captain smiled as the scream of their passage through the upper atmosphere grew louder and louder until it seemed the shrieking of damned heritics within the cleansing fire of a blessed flamer. The brothers saw his small smile and each nodded to him in turn, catching his eye and again acknowledging their pledge to serve him and the Great Lion of Terra yet again. The comm-link rasped and the brother marine pilot's announcement of imminent landing caused the marines to begin final preparations. chants and paeons to the Great Lion, the Emperor of Mankind, and quick prayers of activation were said as the marines suffered the jostling and shaking of their rapid descent while preparing themselves and their weaponry to do the Lions work this day. Riss clicked through his helmet's icons and noted that all thunderhawks were present and their formation landing was near-perfect. A satisfied growl escaped him and he reached down to his right and caressed the ears of the Simba lying strapped down upon the deck plates at his side affectionately. "Sooooon Shalanni, soon. We Hunt soon my old friend, and the Pride will feast upon the laments of our foes." The Simba growled a soft purr and rubbed it's maned head against the Captain's leg, claws scratching and making high pitched screeching sounds as they kneaded the deck sole of the Land Raider. Amber-green eyes watched the marines unstrap themselves and assume their places while his friend and battle-companion released him from the restraints. the Simba rose to all four paws and chuffed an eager coughing growl as he followed Riss to the forwards hatch. The Captain braced himself within the hatchway and watched the crew work, noting the thunderhawk's clamps above the vehicle withdraw, freeing the Land Raider from their grip and feeling the moment of free-fall as the tank fell a few feet to the ground. Having released it's main burden, the thunderhawk rose upon pillars of flame and orbited the Crusader, it's front hatch opening and disgorging a full 10 marine squad of assault troops. Riss watched them float to the ground upon the thrust of their backpack mounted jump jets and nodded to the marine driver. Immediately, the Crusader lurched into motion and maneuvered to join up with the rest of the Pride's vehicles and troops. The Land Raider crested a small hill and paused at the summit, giving Riss a full view of his forces with un-aided eyes as he stood half way out of the vehicle in the hatchway, braced upon the firing step that he had folded down to stand upon. A full dozen Razorbacks and another Crusader were in the final stages of maneuvering into their assigned positions. Nearly forty marines, a dozen veterans, and nearly 20 heavy weapons marines were in those Rhino variant vehicles, with his friend and co-leader Chaplain Lantee commanding the other Crusader's compliment of 8 more Terminator marines. The flares of thirty jet packs, like burning embers, floated about the formation, securing the flanks and checking the area for hidden snipers was always an inspring sight. Riss keyed his comm-bead and caressed his companion's mane as he spoke, "Lions! Today we HUNT!". Riss smiled ferally while his Simba roared loudly in the confines of the Land Raider's crew compartment. "Our target is the black obelisk to the north. Our enemy is prepared for our arrival by the Grace of Him upon the Throne of the Lion. Our claws and fangs will drink deeply of the blood of our enemies and the Great Lion shall smile upon our efforts. Chaplin Lantee shall lead the Pride to the target, set your comm-beads to hear his prayers my brothers, for the Litanies of Hate shall cleanse our souls and steady our minds to our appointed task." Riss paused for several moments, knowing this brothers would be roaring their approval within their own vehicles. "Purity of Essence! Purity of Faith!" Shalanni and Riss returned to their places as the Land Raider rumbled down the hillside and joined the formation as it moved northwards toward the heretical forces opposing the Inquisitor's mission. Reports of Traitor Marines, received in the communications with the Inquisitor's ship had been greeted by the assembled Pride with Roars of approval and anticipation by marine and Simba alike. Riss sat back in his command seat near the back of the Crusader and listened to Chaplain Lantee's voice over the comm-bead, reciting the Litanies of Hate and murmuring them to himself as he watched brother marines take up surface combat stations within the vehicle, including the pintle mounted stormbolter, multi-melta, and Assault Cannons. With a dozen Razorbacks, half mounted with heavy bolters and half with twin-linked lascannons, Captain Riss was quite sure that any force that the heretical foe would care to risk against his advance would find their paws singed and broken almost before they realized it. The space marine captain chose to ignore the tiny piece of chocolate one of the Terminators gave to the Simba. He also chose not to notice his Companion's purring thanks to Sergeant Mallon's bribe, and merely closed his eyes and let the sounds of Lantee's blessing wash over him and through his spirit like a cleansing balm of sancity. Today would be a good day. Yes, indeed. A good day to make the Great Lion's enemies die. Lucas Van Gallieon
On the very edges of the Bracken system within the Garren sub sector, a thin tear opened itself in the fabric of space, with a sudden explosion, a sleek Duantess Light Cruiser, slided magestically through the rent in space and time, no sooner had the ship departed from the wrap, the gap imploded on itself, fading from exsistence and sealing the warp from the fabric of realspace. Navigator Berillian Nox detached himself from the command chair, freeing himself from the perceptions of the warp, exhuasted by the journey, but by no means willing to relinquish his duty just yet, he turned to a shadowy figure standing upon the command deck, gazing at the viewport as the ancient blast shields opened to reveal a green and white orb, adrift in space and the four Astartes Warships that were silloueted in the planets image. "My Lady, we have arrived in the Bracken System" intoned the Navigator. "Thankyou Berillian," a women's voice repiled,"you may take your leave, I shall take over for now". The Navigator bowed gracefully, turned and left the bridge of the Cruiser. Immediantly, the Inquistor gave an order to a shadowed aide by her side, "Begin hailing frequencies to the Astartes Battle Barge, and give me their technical readouts and curret force dipositions. Bring us around high orbit over planet and prepare my shuttle and escort, i shall rendevous with the ground forces command myself". With that, the aide bowed and began to issue the commands nessessary to accomplish his master's orders. The figure turned her gaze back to the Astartes fleet, her expression hardening as her dark brown eyes studied the indistinct outlines of the individual ships. So the crusade has begun, let us see what brings these "Blades of Deliverance" across from the far side of the Imperium... Rlyehable
The Oracles carried the three squads of marines south, following the trail from the city. The trail was easy to follow, even from the air. Onomichi estimated that the trail was from much more than a thousand people. The trail headed almost directly south only turning aside to cross a river. It passed across fields, decimating the crops the farmers had so lovingly cultivated, leaving only muddy pulp behind. The tail proceeded on and on. Yasuhumi estimated that the trail was at least 2 months old. The thunderhawk followed the trail to the snow line. Several miles into the snow line, the trail was obscured. The thunderhawk flew on following the straight line the trail had followed. transmission interrupted Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/63117-the-garren-project/page/5/#findComment-740252 Share on other sites
Rlyehable
Oracles Thunderhawk. transmission reestablished For hours the thunderhawk flew. While able to obtain orbit, the thunderhawk flew low and slow. Hours passed. The trail became visible at times only to disappear again. At last something was spotted on the horizon. A vast dark blot on the white snow covering the world. As the thunderhawk drew closer, the dark blot granulated. Onomichi ordered the 'hawk to high altitude. High gain optics showed that the dot were people. Thousands and thousands of people. Almost none of the people had winter gear. Some were in sleeping atire. All had a sickly grey cast to any exposed flesh. They stumbled through the snow without heed for snow drifts or other obsticales. Onomichi estimated the crowd would take 2 weeks, at thier present speed, to reach the outpost. He ordered the thunderhawk to proceed to the outpost. +Master Asiroan Fel+
Sorry for the long absence... here is a bit to show what happening with me... --- The darkness of the Gwyan system stretched as far as the eye could see, an isolated system it would take the ships from the Errant fleet several hours to arrive at their designated target, the lunar facility orbiting the 3rd planet in the Gwyan system. Suddenly the system shuddered as a streak of light pierced the endless darkness of the system, then two more streaks of light rushed into the system, but as quickly as the light had appeared it faded out, buried by the dark emptiness of the space it had come from. The Valiant Retribution along with her vanguard support cruisers had breached the system, shortly they would rendezvous with the forces of Chaplin Castus, commander of the Guardians of Bifrost forces operating inside the Garren system. Astartes Consul
Hi I to have been absent for a while, so: Iziha fired his bolter, cultists, heretics and chaos marines fell to it's deadly fire. He laughed as he did so, the enemys of the Emperor stood no chance, their attack had crushed the enemys command and resulted in the deaths of thousands of chaos worchiping fools. What baffled him was why the chaos forces had failed to hold the Imperial attack, how in a mere six hours the main , enemy forces had been cruched into an area only five miles square, and more importantly, why 'He' hadn't turned up. Iziha's trained mind told him that there was somthing wrong, he had been trained to always be alert, and his training was yet again, paying off. A chaos terminator came crashing from the building to his right, he swung round, firing a burst of bolter fire into the rotting flesh of it's exposed head, then in a single stroke, decapitating it. He turned and opened fire again, changing magazines in a single fluid motion. It was then that he saw the creature. ----------------------------------------------- The creture laughed, it saw it's old enemy Iziha staring at it from a near by street, it bared it's teeth and laughed, then turned and rocketed into the sky, propelled by some unseen force. ---------------------------------------------- Iziha cursed, it had yet again escaped, he should have ignored his chaplian and hunted it down. With the flight of their master the chaos forces were soon crushed, the vital forge world was theirs, the first planet captured in the crusade. ----------------------------------- I am trying to write an IA, but I still havn't finished it. cheers 'THE CAPTAIN' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/63117-the-garren-project/page/5/#findComment-742653 Share on other sites

Rlyehable
Chaplain Ifuta, of the Oracles, smiled grimly to himself. The fortification of Outpost 426 was going well. The empty rooms were sealed with sensors installed. Supplies were reorganized and redistributed. Remote sentry guns were set up in empty corridors and parts of the permiter. Backup communications were established. A list of the remaining Guardsmen was created, with any special training listed. Lt. Celruda was proving to be more than competent, despite his self-effacing manner. He had reoganized the squads so that the necessary areas were patrolled, but each squad recieved some 'down-time'. "Incomming aircraft." reported the augury officer. A moment later the comms officer reported that it was the Oracles thunderhawk requesting permission to land. Chaplain Ifuta verified the code and nodded to Lt. Celruda. lt Celruda gave permission to land. Moments later the Thunderhawk landed on the pad. Basicly the Warriors are mosrly green, the Crusaders have one leg, arm, shoulder guard inside and the chest blue, the rest is green. Should I stick with the SW or chosse one of my chapters? please help. ------------------------------------ On the good side, ideas are flowing into me about my IAs and the Interesting conection betwenn Iziha and the chaos lord. the-betrayer
The interior of the command land raider was dark, lit only by the light of various video screens, in the centre of the room sat Grandmaster Uriel his face lost in shadow beneath his hood. A massive siloet filled the access ramp and stooped to enter the body of the land raider, it belonged to Master Chaplain Michael an imposing figure in his black power armour, with piercing eyes leering out from behind his skull mask, *it has been done, we have fortified the position, we now have a stable area to deploy from* his low gravely voice rolled across Uriel, * it is time for morning pray Grandmaster, will join us?* Uriel rose to his feet and put his hand on his brothers shoulder *indeed I will brother, lead the way*. Uriel stepped out side in to the warm sunshine, much had changed, there was now several heavy bolter turrets supported by missile turrets surrounding the large circular outpost *it must be a hundred meters across* thought Uriel, several make-shift barricades had also been put up, *at least they will not find us unprepared* thought Uriel as he continued on next to Michael. The brother angels has gathered in the centre of the outpost, with Michael at there head, the marines kneeled as one as Michael began the prayer his voice easily carrying over the assembled marines * HERE WE STAND IN THE DIVINE LIGHT OF THE EMPEROR!! WE SHALL CONDUCT HIS WORK WITH HONER AND RAGE!!! WE SHALL LAY THESE HERITICS LOW WITH BOLTER AND CHAINSWORD!!! WE KNOW NO FEAR FOR WE ARE THE ANGELS OF DEATH!!!!* Through out this Uriel Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/63117-the-garren-project/page/5/#findComment-746053 Share on other sites

Well, i don't think any of us could answer that question as it is your preferance alone... but, what do you find that you like the most about space wolves? if its their rules and way of war, i'd say use those rules for one of your DIYs, if its their colour and converison options, i'd say stay with the Sons of Russ, seeing as you have some of thier models anyway... thats all i can really do to help, sorry..
