Tau? yuck! :D

Being an Ultramarine player at heart I like these ;)

Looking at your desk my attention is drawn towards that other dreadnought, if my eyes don't decieve me am I right in saying that you have put single lascannons on each arm and two sets of rocket racks on the top? Would make some sense being the 1st company which will probably employ older prototypes ;) (and suitably reminds me of mechwarrior...)

On a side note, aren't the 1st company meant to be pink :) ?

I think you mixed something up ^^ the pink guys are the emperors children.. just kiddin'

the topic title is "Ultramarines 1st Company" but these guys belong to the 4th Company, my second project...

Some Minis of this Squad were one of my first marines and horribly painted... So I decided to repaint them...

Looks very, very good. What method are you using to paint the blue?

very simple... just drybrush 2 layers of ultramarine over a black undercoat...

that's it

The librarian is one of the coolest I've seen. I like the inspired pose and the feeling the fig potrays.

nice to hear that from a true scale maker like you ;)

I really like your work and it inspires me alot

crescent guard rocks!

  • 1 month later...

hello guys...

I wasn't able to paint more ultras in the last few weeks because I was busy with my xeno (tau) army which is not allowed here...

I bought the cityfight map today and thought that I had to take a pic with my ultras...

So gentleman enjoy parts the 1st company in action:
