Never tried using wash through an airbrush, either.  Can you just pour it in straight, or do you need to mix it with something?  A very thin coat, I'm guessing?

It goes through the airbrush fine straight from the pot. I use a pipette to syphon it out and drop into into the cup of the airbrush. Just a thin coat in the recessed areas to deepen the shading and tone down some of the highlights.

I finished Mephiston MkII the other day, pics up when I get back from holiday. The Priest will follow ASAP afterwards as I'm doing him for the ETL. Then either the assault marines or some Space Hulk termies up next...

I went to the Grand (Re)Opening of Warhammer World with a friend today. Saw the Warlord Titan in the flesh, the command tanks, Roboute himself and some amazing dioramas including one that must have been 20 feet long and 12 high!

Finally finished the Sanguinary Priest with jump pack and Relics of Baal, 'Valour's Edge' and 'Fury of Baal'. I did the power sword green instead of my usual blue to represent Valour's Edge. This was my first ever ETL vow :)

That Mephiston... It shows why GW needs to get on making some new character models. Beautiful piece, sculpting and painting!

This was a really fun model to paint, GW did a great job on the sculpt – the robes in particular almost paint themselves it's so clear where the highlights and shadows should be. He does look better with a helmet and without the chalice though ;)

Thanks for the comments guys. Finished another unit yesterday, my second vow for the ETL, a 'meltacide' assault squad built from Assault Marine, Vanguard Veteran and Blood Angels Tactical Squad kits. Annoying they brought out the assault kit right after I built these!
