  1. Ive wanted a dressed down astartes model for years. Might have to cave on my no resin policy for this guy
  2. I like all the different bits, not just sure how it comes together
  3. They could do that, but I don't see it as particularily likely. BT have never been a big Terminator chapter (though i wish they were), and something like this hasn't happened since... the LRC?
  4. Is like the earliest example in the thread. I was just scoffing at the notion. I suppose a lot depends on what is even meant with "divergent" to begin with. Valkyrion to his credit does make a valid allusion to the Grey Knight's being a truly divergent chapter under any definition. On the tabletop in the game? Divergence has a hard time crystallizing itself as tangible difference between modified super soldiers built the same way, using the same weapons and wearing the same armor. The Grey Knights and to a much lesser degree the deathwatch are the only real chapters that can claim to be divergent. No other chapter really can be divergent if we're this strict. If we bring in lore? The statement misses the mark by quite a wide margin, but then I suppose the definition is too wide to be interesting to some.
  5. I've read people state in this thread that even the Black Templars aren't really divergent, so in that case there are no divergent chapters and the topic falls on its head. Everyone is non- divergent so OP's point is everyone should have unique units. I support fully everyone's right to have them. Won't be holding any breaths though...
  6. Event exclusive mini i have no use or want for. Nice!
  7. Up to you really. If you can make it look convincing, why not? i think I'd justify them not having chains based on a templar won't chain a weapon if it'd actually get in the way of him fighting, since the bolt sniper rifle/las fusils are rather large cumbersome weapons, it'd make sense for him to able to drop it for when he needs to fight close combat.
  8. I just like the idea of the High Marshal and Marshals having neophytes too. They're essentially sergeants from the historical Knights templars.
  9. Not gonna lie, I would absolute love a model based on "Helbrechts neophyte" sketch by Mark Gibbons from the early 2000's. Would love it if we utilized the neophyte concept more extensively. I know neophyte outriders was mentioned earlier. Would dig that too.
  10. Yes I'd be willing to bet it will just be one thing. A lot of us are working under that assumption. Question is what? Character is the lowest effort / easiest, but we don't really need one. Squad? Vehicle? Another Upgrade kit?
  11. Dawg's accepted one too many blessings from Papa Nurgle.
  12. Would be cool if they gave us a character dread (Wolves will be first with Bjorn, right?) Well, not likely, but it would be cool.
  13. There's also possibility of a new vehicle. It just feels the least likely even if there's presedent
