"Non permittant vivere impuritus."

 Well I did a little more painting last night on the Armageddon Librarian. This is character 2 of 3 characters, plus I have 4 squads to paint for my 500 pt list.

1. Captain Razak- Completed
2. Librarian Zarghul- WIP
3. Bladeguard Ancient
4. Bladeguard Veterans (3 man)
5. Intercessors (5 man)
6. Assault Intercessors (5 man)- need to build
7. Heavy Bolter Elimintaor (3 man)

Since Bladeguard Veterans are almost Characters, are the same colors, with a lot more detail, I think I will paint the Bladeguard Veterans and Ancient with the other squads so Intercessors with a Bladeguard Veteran, Assault Intercessors with a Bladeguard Veteran, Eliminators, Bladeguard Veteran and Bladeguard Ancient. It took me about 4 days to paint my Captain. So hopefully about 5-7 days due to for the Librarain then a week per squad.

Still more colors to block out, highlights and washes, decals then glow effect, which I am nervous about. So I am looking at techniques and I found this one on Reddit user/darcybono.

"A white base followed by transparent paints like Contrast Paints, Speed Paints or inks. Once you have your white lining apply a thin glaze of your brightest color (in this case Iyanden Yellow) then immediately wipe away the center where you want it to be brightest. Once that dry just tinge the edges with a darker color in the same hue (in this case orange).

NOTE: I don't recommend using Corax White as it's basically a light grey and will not result in the same glow effect. It will make your colors more muted than putting it over an actual white."
