  1. Greetings all. It's been a while, but I've returned to my tiny titan project. I've been building like a madman, I've posted to FB and IG but somehow forgot about this log here. Here's a little group shot.. A new Reaver with a battlebling plasma and gatling blaster. I printed the head and melta gun. A pair of hounds with volkite arms I printed way back before the models were out (shows how long its been since working on this project properly) And my biggest engine to date. I'd had the warmaster sealed in his box since day of realease, I finally built him over the course of a couple of afternoons/evenings and wow, what a miniature. Extremely tempted to get another, and an Iconoclast. He strides into battle with raging fires atop his carapace. I couldn't resist the temptation of having him stamping out the life from a smaller engine. I was tempted to print a warlord for this, but thought I'd save that idea for an Iconoclast if I ever build one. Not pictured so far are tonnes of Knights. My household has gotten considerable reinforcements - Acastus, Cerastus, Questoris, Armiger, Moirax. When they're all built I'll photograph them all. I also have another reaver and a new pair of hounds still on sprue awaiting to be built. Hopefully 2022 will be the year of the Legio Nivalis. Thanks for looking!
  2. Thanks very much. I think it's just the angle in the photo, they're just mounted in the normal way A Nemesis Warbringer and another Warhound join the legio.. yet to be named, and the hound has yet to be adorned with banners Thanks for looking
  3. I'm all in for 6mm epic battles! Extremely eager to get started. Titanicus progress.. I received my Princeps Maniple box and Warmaster titans.. and built another Warlord. I'm pleased to introduce Vausurtr to you.. I printed some Volkite guns for my next pair of Warhounds as I can't wait to try them out when I'm allowed to meet up and play some games again. Pictures to follow, I'm also halfway through building my Nemesis Warbringer. C&C welcome
  4. Thanks mate. I'm tempted to use a pair per base as a counts as Knight. Spurred on by the announced pre-order of the warmaster titan and the new maniple box, which I plan to buy both, I've been tinkering away in chitubox.. Me and some friends plan to play some 6mm Apocalypse or "epicalypse" and he's going to do some Imperial Fists to go against my Iron Warriors with titan support. Speaking of, I have an epic Iron Warriors force starting to grow now.. And it wouldn't be a true Iron v Fists scrap without a fortress to duke it out over, would it? I'm working on scaling and supporting this classic to the correct size. Eager to make some progress on all this.
  5. Thanks mate :) I got the Armigers off a telegram group, I think. To be honest I've had them a fair while despite not owning a printer until this week, and I get files from a fair few places.
  6. Good to know! Thanks a lot! I've not touched this project in what feels like forever, mainly due to never having played a game due to lockdown in the UK. I recently bought a 3d printer for D&D and came across some AT scale files, and had to have a look.. Behold my teeny tiny marines! I plan to start making them for any scenery I build. It's too late to add them to my bases so hopefully these guys running around buildings will look pretty cool! Also, I couldn't resist some Armigers.. They're so cute! Hopefully work will allow me to get some paint on these little guys before long. Thanks for looking
  7. Thanks mate! Thanks very much! I got super busy with work but it's good to be back making progress. Thanks a lot! Sooooo I got a printer early. A couple of little mishaps with support removal, but two new grinders are in the works... Thanks for looking, C&C welcome
  8. I've made a little progress. First, some group shots; Leader and Cult Icon Assorted choppy boys Juves... will have to do some more with flamers at some point! A WIP member.. he's not in my 1000 credits list but I'm sure there will be room for him before long when my country allows me to play. And finally; I plan on getting an Elegoo Saturn resin printer when I get my tax return in April. Mainly for D&D uses but I couldn't resist these sculpts to add to my gang. I haven't bothered supporting most of the hands and heads as I plan on using my bits box for those. Thanks for looking! C&C welcome.
  9. Cheers! Thanks a lot! I haven't tried any reiver heads, but I love this bits so may have to in the future. Thanks! Thanks! I will do a video at some point when I paint more, but the colours are Vallejo Ivory and Light Flesh mixed together, with more Ivory mixed in for highlights, eventually pure Ivory before a white extreme highlight.. then various purple, red and green inks water down into the muscle lines, knuckles, pipe parts etc and streaking grime over the top. Cult icon is a random banner I found in my bits box (possibly flagellants? Not sure sorry!) with a zombie standard bearer body on the top, green stuff straps and some chaos marine spiked skulls for the very top. Thanks a lot! I still haven't managed to play a game thanks to lockdowns and work schedules, but I've been recently planning on padding them out a little. I'm looking at getting some Gerreks Reavers soon to do some conversions for my favourite cannibals, and I definitely want to build an ambot.
  10. So much this. Incredible job on keeping the minis dark and grimy, but contrasting that wonderfully with the skintone and the bright pop of the color on the axes. Thank you! I'm still looking for ways to add larger amounts of gore without it being OTT and looking for ways to expand the gang.
  11. Thank you! I've finished the gang for now, think I can still find some more details to add but for gaming purposes they're done I still have some Grinders on sprue I'm not sure what to do with, and I know I want to build my own Harvest Lord instead of ordering from FW. Eager to play some games now. Will also look at making a guide because I've been asked a few times across sites how I painted them up now. Thanks for looking! C&C welcome
  12. Double post, but I have a little WIP. Nearly got the juves done now Fingers crossed I can get to club really soon after I finish them to try the game out.
  13. Thanks! Exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you! Yeah, I can definitely look at putting together a guide when I build more up. Stay tuned! Thank you very much! Thanks a lot! Fingers crossed I can get some games in with them soon! Edit; For anyone interested, this is the list I'm going to start playing with - https://yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/the_crimson_hand.135287/
  14. Thanks mate! Made some more progress last night. Still got some details to go - but they're at gaming level now. 3 Juves to paint and then I'm ready to start! Thanks for looking - C&C welcome
  15. Greetings all. After coming out of lockdown, my local club has a few members wanting to try out Necromunda, so here I am. I bought the 2017 starter set but never got around to really doing much with it, and I've yet to play a game. I chose the Corpse Grinders for this project, thought I'd share them here. You may notice a few conversions. I hate the majority of the juve heads, so those weird cages had to go. I also had a crack at building myself a cult icon; I also started working on my colour scheme. I wanted to go really dirty black and after painting up some monochromatic adeptus titanicus stuff, I thought I'd see what else I could do with that theme. Obviously still need to add copius amounts of gore to them, and I'm thinking of trying out some weathering powders on the bases. List wise, they're all armed with heavy chain cleavers, the rotary saw, cult icon, and the juves have bone swords, pistols and smoke grenades. I know lots of the axes aren't the specific heavy cleavers, but rule of cool and variety win out.. if they're all heavy and I pay the points, I hopefully won't see any issues. Looking forward to learning the rules and finishing these, as well as expanding. C&C welcome Thanks for looking!
