  1. you get 5 custodes in the box, one of which can be made into a shield captain. however, a 4 man custodes guard squad is an illegal loadout. am I missing something? thanks
  2. I have had the 4th edition codex for a while, I guess I just never noticed that part. thanks!
  3. I was recently reading the Black Templars 4th edition codex and noticed something called a Marshal Household. what exactly is that?
  4. had this idea, because the Telemon Dreadnought from Forge World is awesome, but its custodes, and I don't like custodes.
  5. the squad sizes seem somewhat restricting, but they have a nearly identical statline to the primaris crusaders BUT cheaper and with more weapon options. what do you guys think?
  6. is the Leviathan book just a special edition of the core book exclusive to the box? or are they different books with different rules? or does the Leviathan Book have extra content? its quite confusing.
  7. paint them like normal Black Templars with a white helm and a little red heart on the forehead. I dont really like any special units like Apothecaries or Techmarines sticking out of the army. my Ultramarines army has suffered enough slightly lighter blue librarians and black chaplains clashing with the rest of the force to agree.
  8. some of the stratagems seem quite good, and I've used devout push quite a few times in games and the vows seem very good (especially Suffer Not the Unclean and Accept Any Challenge) but the Primaris Crusader Squad seems to be under-preforming against anything other than AP 0, S 4 weapons.
  9. an idea I had recently, where I would put Grimaldus along with is servitor cohort onto a single 80mm base. I would then add the servitors wounds to Grimaldus, as the relics still stay active after the servitors die. obviously wouldn't work in tourney/competitive play, but would you be willing to fight an army with this in an open/casual game?
