Hello everyone, I'm WolfLogic and I've been posting my fic on this site and others since 2021. The thread here is called 40k Alternate Timeline as I didn't have an official title for it yet when I first posted the idea. Since then I got a bit of inspiration and decided to call it "Dreams Fall Apart" The summary I've come up with for the story is as follows: Millennia ago the Emperor completed the Webway Project and initiated a new crusade to conquer it. Driven to the brink of extinction, the Eldar made a pact with the Chaos Gods and were able to drive the Imperium out of the Webway. Now having to hold off countless incursions by the Chaos Eldar the Imperium is spread thin and only time will tell if humanity can survive the onslaught. While the project started off small and with a specific idea in mind, it has since become much larger than I originally anticipated as I have a great time building up the world I've created and adding details and hopefully some nuance. That being said, I like to stay consistent and have things make sense, so a year or so ago I DMed one of my readers and asked if I could bounce ideas off of them. They accepted and the rest is history. Unfortunately, that person is taking a hiatus from the site to work on their own writing and won't be around to give me feedback and beta my work. some of the stratagems seem quite good, and I've used devout push quite a few times in games and the vows seem very good (especially Suffer Not the Unclean and Accept Any Challenge) but the Primaris Crusader Squad seems to be under-preforming against anything other than AP 0, S 4 weapons.

I noticed a couple of days ago that the FAQs section on WarCom had a killteam section: https://www.warhammer-community.com/faqs/#kill-team I didn't remember seeing a topic about it on here, or a dedicated article on WarCom, so I feel like it may have slipped under the radar, hence creating this topic. Mods, feel free to move this if it's better suited to the announcements subforum. A couple of things that I noticed were missing have been fixed or clarified, any thoughts?

Frater of the RPG Nook, I have tried to get a few games off the ground in the Nook, but unfortunately time has been against me with other projects, so my attempts have failed. Many threads I have proposed have brought in our regulars and intrepid explorers, but we have been unable to continue with our efforts. A fellow frater asked me how many games actually get played in here and my response was "sadly few". It is obvious to me that really what we need are more GM's in here and a support network to try and match them to games. With that in mind, what can we do to encourage this? I have proposed that we try and get an event in here, but regrettably, things have not come together, so I thought instead of just firing off at half-bore, we should try and boil down what our challenges are, all in one place. Feel free to explore around this list or even add to it. We are all trying to get this thing moving. What do we think are the problems preventing PBP games from happening? What can we do to rekindle interest in the Nook from those who tried/posted before? How can we overcome the barriers to interest that maybe putting people off? These are just some things to get brains buzzing. Any suggestions or comments are welcome, but of course, please keep it civil and constructive. I open the floor now to our esteemed Frater. MR.

Sorry for the cheesy title. For Father's Day, my 16-month-old son got me a Gorka/Morkanaut (my wife swears she had nothing to do with it). I'm very excited, as I think the model is hella cool, and just the thing I need to help get my average ETL vow up this summer. But the question is, which one should I build it as? From first read, I'm thinking the Morkanaut. 3d3 KMK shots are mean, plus the KFF on that large base is going to cover a massive area. On the other hand, the Gorkanaut has been seeing some high-level play, such as Ben Jurek's Freebooterz, and I've just heard anecdotally that the Gorka is the way to go. I'm considering a list with 3 Battlewagons/Bonebreakas and 2 'nauts, presenting 80+ toughness 8 wounds, and greatly reducing how many models I have to move every game. I was originally going to go double Morka, but maybe one of each? The Dread WAAAGH! specialist detachment provides a stratagem to double fire, so having one of each 'naut would give me the flexibility to double fire the Gorka when facing hordes and the Morka when up against knights/heavy armor. And what clan? My initial thought was Deffskullz, which for Morkanauts is excellent, but the Gorkanaut would benefit more from Bad Moonz. Alternatively, Blood Axes would make the 'nauts more survivable, though against most things that would be targeting them, it probably wouldn't matter vs. the KFF. Freebooterz is the single strongest for shooting, but it requires an activator, and that can be hard against some armies.

How have you been doing with DE against other Index armies and Codex armies? Have you been struggling? Are you enjoying the play style? What works for you and what doesn't? Do you think we need a codex soon or can we manage without one? I just thought I'd start a general discussion here as it seems most other armies have one and it'd be cool to discuss how people are feeling about the BDSM space elves
