    I've used it to good effect. It's tuff to kill and pumps out the hurt against whatever you're shooting at

    Well, what I was thinking with the nids was to use trygons and genestealers/broodlords for a subterranean assault kinda thing.

    I was playing against eldar actually Jeske. He's a pretty good player as well. Every meta is different, just because something doesnt work in yours, doesn't mean it won't work else where and vice versa. Also I dont play less then 2k pts and usually over 3k.

    I think its worth it. Admittedly I rolled high for my number of attacks, but my opponent wasnt prepared for the dmg per attack to roll over to other models. Once her learned what the blight lords were capable of, he focused on killing them along with the blight drones.

    Pm had blight launchers, icon, and a power fist. And the the termies had combi-plasma, axes, and a flail.

    Yup, they've cut down everything Ive sent them against, and kept Typhus alive.

    I play local tourney from time to time because it's mostly friendly, no cash prizes or anything. Mostly it's all friendly games with people I know. So far my plague marines have been invaluable. Tough and hard to kill, decent dmg output. The blight lords and death shroud have been amazing, pox walkers are more of an annoyance then anything. I cant wait to get the crawler and hauler to try those out

    I play against eldar more often then not. I've had great luck with plague marines. A unit of 7 with a power fist charged a wrath knight, held it for 5 turns and killed it.

    Lol same...Ive had a lot of good luck with plague marines myself, but then I seldomly play less the 2k points, usually 3k plus.

    Im so glad I dont play competitive 40k, everything Jeske suggested sounds boring and restrictive to me. Im curious, is baseline dg really so terrible? I mean can you really say you're playing dg if you dont actually use dg in your list?

    Agreed, I miss the bonuses for running your squads at your God's favored number

    I use a couple of blight drones and and a couple of plague casters with the plague wind power. Thins out orks nicely

    I currently footslog mine without much trouble. However my two drones draw a lot of attention.

    Cultists suck, if yer going to play WE, then zerkers are probably yer best bet melee wise. Or team up with Khornate daemons for bloodletters.

    I disagree, plague marines have performed great for me. And generally csm are significantly better then cultists, all they do is die in droves. Comparing to the imperium is a mistake, chaos will never match up. They never have.
