Translated from spanish from here ' "Goodbye micropayments." Tomorrow, Steam will give you a free, complete Warhammer 40K game if you've played it in the last year. Speed Freeks, the "Mario Kart of Warhammer 40,000," leaves Early Access on May 22, becoming a paid game. Just days after its release of version 1.0, one of the craziest games in the Warhammer 40,000 universe has surprised its fans with an unexpected change of direction. After several months as a free game in early access, the project has decided to shift towards a more classic model. However, although Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks will now be a paid game , the Caged Element team is giving it a twist: no more microtransactions . Speed Freeks, the multiplayer driving shooter starring the orcs of Games Workshop's universe, will definitively abandon the free-to-play model on May 22nd , the date of its official launch on Steam. From then on, the title will cost 16 euros and include all its content without the need for microtransactions. The developers have also confirmed that the internal store will be removed for new players, although those who have accumulated the Teef virtual currency will still be able to spend it for a year. Those of you who have played so far will get free Speed Freeks. The good news is that those who participated in the game's early stages—whether during Early Access or its free trials—will receive the full version at no additional cost. It's worth mentioning that the game is no longer available for purchase if you didn't do so between August 2024 and yesterday, so there's only one option left for those who haven't played it: pay up. In addition to this change in business model, the project's developers are opting for a more traditional content strategy , based on premium DLC. They explain that the goal is to offer quality updates and maintain a constant flow of new features without relying on aggressive monetization systems. Of course, the community has enthusiastically embraced this decision, appreciating the commitment to a more honest and direct experience . Still, some regret not having taken advantage of the upgrade to a completely free paid version, as access to the game was lost until the full version arrived. However, others allude to a classic saying: "He who doesn't run, flies." ' BTW, you can still get it for free in Steam. But you have very few hours to get it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2078450/Warhammer_40000_Speed_Freeks/

I just found this here and I think is quite funny and entertainingabd interesting. Dress Up Aestra. It's created by a well known New Zealand artist (A lovely person, I must add. I had talk with her several times) and It's totally free and online. You can put clothes, weapons, hair styles,...Very easy to use. It's like playing to dress a doll, but the doll in this case is an Drukhari Archon. Probably, not for all the audiences (And not only for some little spicy details, like putting lingeries) but I recommend to try it. Who knows, maybe can inspire you new conversions, or other ideas... Finally, we can download a Warpaints Fanatic colour conversion chart from The Army Painter official Web! At last!: "There’s nothing more nerve-wracking than switching from one paint range to another and not knowing if you’ll be able to match the colour scheme on your ongoing collection of minis. As painters, we’ve all been in that position. Veteran hobbyists of The Army Painter ranges will have felt something along those lines this past year when the new and improved Warpaints Fanatic range replaced our long-standing original Warpaints line. While some of the colours carried over, such as Daemonic Yellow and Greenskin, plenty of others didn’t have an exact match. Worry no more, as we now have this extremely helpful Colour Conversion Chart!" We can download directly from: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0636/1232/1970/files/A3_Fanatic_Colour_Conversion_Chart_WEB.pdf?v=1726566052 Other useful downloads, all free: https://thearmypainter.com/pages/downloads More details: https://thearmypainter.com/blogs/explore/the-warpaints-fanatic-colour-conversion-chart?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_content=ap_al7lqqdptm

Dan Morison, aka Dark Mechanic, has merged all his illustrations from the Badab War series, and put all of them into a downloadable booklet of just 44 pages (42.1 MB). Every colour scheme, every chapter, color and B&W, as well as some rejects and extra stuff. The title is Oath breakers, Traitors, Secessionist. In summary, we have in a booklet, some artwork for 17 chapters, from both contemporary and retro time periods, as well as some rough pencil work. And you can get it for free on his Gumroad page. And if you want, you can make him a donation. And here is his Twitter profile

Hæ! Yesterday I found this curious but useful web: https://buildinstructions.com/ This is a web with assembly instructions, every kind of them. Even have from GW boxes: https://buildinstructions.com/warhammer-the-horus-heresy-30k/ https://buildinstructions.com/?s=Warhammer&post_type=product&type_aws=true https://buildinstructions.com/warhammer-40000-40k/ https://buildinstructions.com/warhammer-age-of-sigmar-aos/ https://buildinstructions.com/warhammer-the-horus-heresy-30k/ The files are free but the web accept donations. Both in coin and pdf stuff. I think can be useful. I download a pair and the scan quality is fine.

https://orniris.com/ If you are looking for Warhammer 40K/30K art or for other games like Necromunda, this web (A well known web I think) is perfect. Lot of pics in galleries with an excellent level. And not only that. Look in Downloads: https://orniris.com/downloads/ All for free and created for the community by Orniris Terensi. Not GW material, just fan made creations. But as good as the official. Or even more.
