New DG marines I have started, and the GUO.

Looking real good. I'm interested to see how the marines look fully assembled and painted. but from what I am seeing so far they look great. My only critism on the GUO is the back/spine area is too pink/red-ish, it looks a bit flat. Maybe some purples or blues would add tonal variation. though there might be more depth there that isn't showing up on the photo. The intestines look fantastic though. Very life like and creepy. Overall I think you've done superb. :(

Gonzilla-I based it with a dark green, i then did a squick drybrush of plata silver, then added dirt. After that i went into the dirt area with a 50/50 mix of beaty brown and parasite brown. Then topped it all off with a wonderwash. and added the metail highlights with a tiny tiny brush

Wokkers-I'm not a med student im a digital illustration major. I jsut like to draw gory things thus my reasoning for playing nurgle.

Tiberius-I do agree i think i should add some darker tones to the back now that i look at it but then again i dont know for sure because there is alot more in then the pix are showing. so i might just go the lazy way and say screw it.

Well see haha

anyways heres the update of hte day, i have got my base started for the GUO almost all of his front side is complete especially the tounge, it was hard to decide on a nasty color for it but brownish always looks nasty and well the the glossyness was drying on him i made a new marine for the recruits.

Angel- the base coat was a mix of a parasite brown and beasty brown. then a 75/25 mix of that color with bone white. then 50/50 mix of that mix and boneand then finally a brush on of just bone white.

:D I've asked the same for the rust
