Should be doing a little more construction tonight, it's time for the hull to go together, then i'll be working on the sponsons. I ended up doing the magnets in the same way as your Super-Heavy Raider, i've got enough left over sponson parts to get away with not hving to magnetize weapons so it seemed a good way to do it. Just cut the wings off and your good to go. You can use the one with the skull on it as well, you just need to be a little more careful cutting around the skull. The airbrush was an interesting experience, had a bit of trouble re-assembling it, in the end I got the mrs to do it as I put the trigger guide in back to front and couldn't get it out. :lol: Loss of main points there. Nice smooth red though. ;) As for interesting paint jobs, im not sure yet. Im thinking about adding a small shield to one side, but aside from that and the swords the only other things i've added are purity seals. The black insets will stay though. Im just worried about making the whole thing too busy by adding loads of freehand. I will weather it though. I've got some new MIG pigments to ply with so that should be fun. Im just about to glaze the red and paint the black insets then i'll add a more up to date picture. Thanks to everyone else that posted, im glad to see people like the force. I've done a bit more work over the last few nights, most of the metals are done, the skulls and eagles are done, next step is the green on the lenses and purity seals.
