VanSan
here is my "Shrike" count as. Built him with swords instead of claws because they always seem too big on normal Space Marines, in my opinion. What do you think? http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu220/VanSan2/1-2.jpg
Isiah
I think the twin swords look 'right' on a DA model - fits our sword-loving ethos. Superb pose, very dynamic. Another classic in the making -_-. Cheers I
Okidus
awesome.

Brother Belga
As usual, great figs Vansan. really love the way you put one of the bike slightly out of it's axis, it really looks like it's moving. And your painting job is great. Keep them coming !

notmattlythgoe
beautiful model. absolutely love it. are you using skull white for your high lighting? I like the look and might have to steal that from you.
VanSan
First Highlight is Shadow Grey Second one is Space Wolves Grey. In the end inked with badab Black to soften the strong highlights out a bit.
Isiah
VanSan do you ever enter your models into [painting] competitions? If so how do you do? Cheers I
VanSan
@Isiah Hm, I think I have entered about 20 competitions in the last 8 years. Most of them were online some were in local gaming stores. Normally I made quite good results with my models. The biggest competition I won was the Games Workshop Germany online competition when the Imperial Guard Codex of the 3rd edition came out. The price was the at that time "brand-new" Imperial Armour 1 from FW :D
Isiah
The price was the at that time "brand-new" Imperial Armour 1 from FW :) well worth winning indeed.
VanSan
Finished Asmoshrike! The idea for the banner is from a mini from this years GD (England). Fits very well to a chaplain in my opinion. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y174/VanSan1/Asmoshrike.jpg

Tanhausen
INCREDIBLE. Golden Daemon quality no doubt. And for once, you didn't over-do the lighter parts I usually have a feeling that you end up cramming too much detail (dread or LR for example)... The model is PERFECT :)
MithrilForge
OK i've been away for a long time,so this is great stuff to discover on my return! this ravenwing army is so inspirational and the rest is pure awesomesauce ;) well done on all of it!! cheers mithril
Wayward
Excelent!!!!! Twin wielding swordman fits like a glove to DA. IIRC, one of the sacred standars depicted the angel of death with two swords, Am I right?
